Making of people, adversaries
Or, "not friends"
Overly, adversely
Covertly
Concerned with the events
Of an"other's" life and times
Enticed to take part in gossiping's "delight"
It may feel as if we unite
With those equally "on high"
Who "never have" or "would never" do
Who claim to be far removed
Yet all we "do"
When exclaiming to have more of a clue
Is demonstrate
We similarly come from fear
Is judge
And trudge
Through the sludge
Not necessarily of the accused's mud
But of our own not dealt with crud
Like birds cut off from flight
We bind the wings of our own mind
We become as blind
Feeling we're revealing meaning
When, in fact, all we are is trite
Forgetful of sight
"Justified"
In placing blame
Putting to shame
Choosing to defame
The light
Of that "other"
In favor of concentrating on appearances
Apparent issues at hand
Instead of the stead of a far better plan
Regarding the Essence
Of our Sister
Of our Brother
