Jona to Heavenletters:

Dear Gloria, thank you for the Heavenletters that I have received. And thank you for your (almost) overwhelming praise. No one ever said to me before that I had a pure heart.

You're one of the most amazing people I have ever had contact with, and that's because God's your best friend. I wish I could say the same about God being my best friend. But it would not be completely true.

It's amazing that, after all God sacrificed for me, I still can't let go of my worldly desires. I know God loves me and I Him, but I still can't jump and have complete trust. I want to say that I can leave everything for Him and just trust in what He has already planned, but I'm scared to be like Him and leave myself behind.

I don't know, maybe you can help me out here. Thank you again.

God to Jona:

I will help you out here, dear Jona. And thank you for your honesty.

Let Us put it this way. I ask you to know Me. I ask you to give Me your trust. Why do I do this? Not for Me, My darling. Without trust in Me, you are alone. Without trust in Me, you trust in what is folly. Without trust in Me, you think you are the ruler of your little universe. Without trust in Me, your world is small.

I do not ask you to sacrifice. I do not ask you to give up. I ask you to have more. More awareness of My love. More awareness of your worth. More awareness of Our intimacy. More awareness of truth. More joy.

You were not born to deny yourself in life. You were born to find out Who you are, and Who you are is mighty.

Jesus said that whatever he could do, you can do and more. He didn't mean someone else. He meant you. He didn't mean some Humans and not others. He meant you and everyone else. Fullness of expression is what My children allow themselves, or deny themselves, in proportion to their trust in Me.

Trust in God. What a simple thing. You are not the conductor. I am the Conductor. You are a player. You are a member of God's orchestra, and God wants you to play the great music that you are. Without trust, you are afraid to be the greatness that is your truth.

Desire to choose faith in Me, and that is good enough. You already do desire full faith in Me. I know that. You have made the decision for faith. Which would I want you to choose, of course, faith or fear? And you have chosen faith.

When you have made the decision you have, then you can rely on Me to do the rest. Trust Me to bring you to the trust you want to have. You cannot do it all by yourself. But with Me, you will receive it. Trust that you will continue to know Me more and more by virtue of your enjoining Me to partake in your life. Trust that I wouldn't want it otherwise.

There is a huge horizon around you, but if you look up only two inches, you miss the magnificence of the view. Faith is when your eyes dare to look up all the way to Heaven. That is hardly sacrifice, dear one.

Make less effort, Jona. Trusting is easy. It is easier than distrust. Trust makes your life easier.

I do not ask you to give up your worldly desires. I do not ask you to deny. You live in a body on earth. You have to move around in the world. You live there.

Jesus had desire. Great desire. He desired the human joys to eat and be clothed and have shelter and give joy and have joy and, above all, to serve Me. He could only serve Me in his life because he knew his intimate connection to Me. He talked to Me, he asked Me, he listened to Me, and he followed Me. His will and My will were One Will. My will is not to deny you. You have no need to prove anything to Me.

I ask you to acknowledge your desires. Do you want love and beauty and knowledge? Make sure your desires are big enough. Know that I am on your side. Know that there is the temporary and the permanent, and that I am the Permanent. But I have also given you the impermanent. I gave you this life on earth.

Trust develops, Jona. Trust in Me does not mean believing that everything in your life will go as your individuality thinks it ought. Trust in Me means that you know you have Me and My love whatever happens. When your desires are fulfilled, and when they are not. I do not love you more when you are without worldly desires than when you are with them. What I do is love. Keep your eyes on My love, and I will guide you like the North Star guides sailors adrift in the sea. I will guide you strongly. Trust in Me to guide you. Trust in yourself to know your own good. Trust in yourself enough to know that I am guiding you. Trust in Me enough to know that I am within you. It has been said that the Kingdom of Heaven lies within you. Where else would it lie? You are My child, after all, are you not?

Would a God of Love ask you to leave yourself behind? I ask you to find yourself and Me as I am within you.

Gloria does not possess anything that you do not. Gloria does not have complete trust in Me yet either. She is in process just like the rest of you.
