Experiences Are No More Than Experiences
All experiences are good, yet don’t make too much of experiences. This includes experiences that you find wonderful and also experiences you find heartrending and traumatic. Too much is not to be made of anything at all in the relative world. An experience that seems big today may simmer down to nothing the next day.
In any case, experiences recede, and you experience something else. Even routine experiences are experiences. Riding the bus. Opening or closing a door. Standing on tiptoe to reach to the top of the fridge.
Whether an experience is flunking a test in school or near death or a birthday party, you don’t want to make too much of it. Regardless of the nature of your experience, it is only an experience. You can love it or not love it.
We can perhaps say that experience is a hall you go down. You don’t stay there. A hall can be as beautiful as a church, or it can be crumbling, yet a hall is only a hall. It serves a function in the world. A hall you go down may well be momentous to you, yet, regardless, it is only a passage.
A passage can go east and west or it can go north and south. It can go up hill or downhill. It can make you laugh or make you cry. Ultimately, there is no difference. It all comes out in the wash.
Life in the world is not even a dot in Infinity. Not really a blip either because Infinity is Eternal. We can say that dots and blips and time and space are outside of Infinity. We can say that anything outside of Infinity does not exist. I do say this.
To My children, the world is real while Infinity is the Real, and the world you call real is a dream. Let your dreams in the world be casual dreams. Note that I am saying casual not causal, not causal at all.
Joseph had a coat of many colors, and you have dreams in many colors.
When a coat has worn out and outlived its usefulness, you toss it away. You can toss your experiences away as well. They took you down a passage, and now you are somewhere else. That old dream is just an old dream. The moment you have an experience, you have moved beyond it.
Experiences do not have to be classified, sorted, subdivided. Whatever you are aware of or not, the experience accomplished its mission. You don’t have to make a map of where you have been. You do not have to have definitions for experiences. Life is not meant to be a dictionary. Life is a corridor, and you are making your way.
Life is not a bus conductor who announces the names of streets. When you are going down Main Street, you are going down Main Street whether you know its name or not. As soon as you locate the name of the street you are on, you are on your way to the entrance of another street.
Just like when you were a child, someone might measure your height with a line on a wall. The next time your height is measured, you’re already taller. You don’t have to think: “Oh, today I am growing.”
We are talking about your evolution, dear ones. All are growing, and that’s all you need to know. Life is not like a college you go to where each course has a specific name and number, and you know exactly when the course starts and ends and what room you go to to take the course.
In your evolution, you walk down a hall that is not so delineated. You don’t have to know the name of the hall you just passed through. You do not need a formal graduation. You are progressing. This is what evolution is. We can say that you evolve from walking down one hall every day of your life and from then on, on another and another.
I will tell you this: You have always walked down greater halls than you credit yourself with. You find some halls more spectacular than others. Nevertheless, all you’re doing is walking down halls. All the halls, regardless of how they seem, lead to Me. Who are you anyway? Who asks all these questions?
The Truth is that you cannot be located in a specific space in a specific time when space and time do not exist. There is existence. You and I and Infinity exist Eternally.
