Gloria to Heavenreaders:

Heavenletters has included many wonderful responses from new and long-time Heavenreaders, but now I share a correspondence that is of a different order. You might as well have the whole picture!

Names are changed out of courtesy.

Miranda to Gloria:

Thank you, Gloria, for forwarding the HEAVENletters, and for offering us a free two-week subscription, as suggested by our friend Louise. I must say I'm a bit confused by it all, however. Who ARE you? Are you a psychologist? And what is meant by a two-week subscription? A subscription to WHAT?

I truly am a bit perplexed by the discussion of God (with a capital "G"), Jesus, and your references to Yourself as "God". As a Unitarian Universalist, I personally do not embrace the Christian God or His son, Jesus, as the only Truth.

Gloria to Miranda:

Dear Miranda,

Thank you so much for responding!

I'm sorry for the confusion! Did Louise's email clear it up?

I used to teach school, so I suppose you could say I'm a psychologist!

I am actually Jewish, and agree with you that a Christian God and Jesus are not the only Truth. I don't think it ever occurred to me to think so. The God I know doesn't care what He/She is called; these are only words. God is strictly non-denominational, not even a religion at all.

Miranda, a response such as yours really gets me on my toes!

The best answer I could give you is to send you a couple weeks of Heavenletters as it comes. I do not know ahead of time what they will say. Maybe after a week or so, you could tell me what it's all about!

These words of love and wisdom in Heavenletters are not mine, Miranda. If you knew me, you would know they are not. Not in a million years could I dream up those words that just flow and surprise me!

God has said that anyone can hear His words. And I am happy to say that many are. (See Ask God Workshops.)

It is hard for me to imagine my life without His companionship. This has been happening for me for about three years, and I am glad that His words sent out in Heavenletters open many to His light.

Well, is it okay to send you more?

Your friend, Gloria (on behalf of Heaven Association)

P.S. You don't have to believe in this! Just read it and let it do what it does.

Miranda to Gloria:

Thank you for your words and thoughts. I'm still having a hard time with the concept. I guess I'm having a difficult time comprehending the idea of having a deep, "real" relationship with someone I never met and who I don't know, on the Internet. For money.

In addition, my tendency is to disassociate my thoughts and energies from Jesus (yes — I realize "Jesus" is just a name, and words aren't important). But they ARE. How about choosing someone else in history?

You use so many references to God's Love, and what He gives us and offers…these are all ideas I spend little time really thinking about. I'm not one personally to engage in such a pursuit of the Father, God, Father of Jesus, as my Truth. I believe I'm not comfortable with the format, that's all.

Gloria to Miranda:

Thank you so much for responding.

Whenever you would like to receive a two-week complimentary subscription — no obligation! — Heaven Association will be more than happy to give it to you.

You know, explanations never explain. They always lead to more objections.

But, here goes, anyway!

For some readers, Jesus doesn't come up enough! But he comes up when he comes up!

Heavenletters has to be paid for. It is a legal non-profit organization, and payment is a donation.

Hopefully, people are happy to donate. It has to be paid for, for several reasons:

One is: payment is respect.

Two is: I have to live.

To date, I have received no salary, but as things grow I will receive a salary without apology. It appears that God wants me to do this, and I want to, and so I do with a full heart. But nobody gives me things free. I have to pay for things, and I have to eat!

Well, dear one, you have been a wonderful catalyst for making me clearer and stronger.

All blessings to you and yours!

Love, Gloria (on behalf of Heaven Association)

Gloria to God:

Dear God, I am definitely less sensitive than I used to be, but I still find it hard to understand how it can be that someone doesn't grab HEAVEN. Miranda obviously cares, and she responded. Some people never respond at all and just ignore the whole thing, so I appreciate her a whole lot. Will You tell me how it can be that someone doesn't appreciate You and Your words?

God:

Dear Gloria, it is not your concern. Love the Heavenreaders and love Heaven's objectors. They are all My children. And they are all seekers. And some hide from their seeking. But all will come to love and honor My Name with or without Heavenletters. Be not mindful of what others do or do not.

Be grateful and happy for the strong Heavenreaders who accompany you. They are not better nor worse than those who ignore or disbelieve. All will come to Me by and by one way or another.

Gloria:

Dear God, many questions from Heavenreaders have been about connecting spiritual life with regular life. Sometimes it's hard to make the connection.

I remember years ago a university professor from England saying something to me like: "Knowledge in the absolute stays in the absolute. Knowledge in the relative stays in the relative." Is it an incorrect assumption to think, because we get closer to You, that life will then go the way we want?

God:

It depends on what you look at. You could look at Jesus' life and say, "Look, he was close to God, and he got killed at a young age." Or you could look at Jesus' life and think of all the joy he spread and does still.

You may feel pity or disdain for a homeless person on the street, but he might be happy and very close to Me. The material things and busyness that matter to you just may not matter to him.

Or someone might have everything wonderful, home, family, friends, looks, wealth, health, happiness and not care about spirituality at all, and you wonder.

Yes, you can have one without the other. You can have great spiritual fulfillment and not have the relative in the form that your limited thinking might expect. Your premise is off. You are not close to Me for certain rewards. You are close to Me because that is joy beyond any other. And its rewards are many, but not laid out by you.

Will your life go perfectly? The answer is yes, but it may not go according to your expectations. Your expectations set limits. You do not know where your path may lead. You do not know what is beyond the door. And you do not always know what is good and what isn't.
