Cinderella's Carriage at the "Masquerade Party"
This poem was inspired by Heavenletters and Earth/Angel Jim/Jimi Keller
"Masquerade Party"
We're assembled in a live ballroom
Playing a part behind a mask we've assumed
In Human guise and layers of dress
Sometimes we Tango, sometimes we wrest
Like Cinderella we'll party 'till twelve
And upon that chime turn into our Selves
Will we be just in time like the fairy tale?
Or too soon or too late for the great un-veil?
And "Who will we be?" is the question we'll ask
When "Now" is the moment when we unmask
Too frightening to behold, too plain to see?
Why not at all, it's just you and me!
Love, Light and Aloha!
