Dear God, even though I type the date every day, all of a sudden Christmas is upon me. Much undone.

God:

Perhaps it is not so important, or so urgent, Gloria, the cards and gifts you were going to send. Perhaps the message is sent, and the love received without the gift. What would happen if you did not get everything done you assigned yourself to do?

Gloria:

I suppose I would be letting people down.

God:

You are concerned about letting yourself down, losing your image of this ideal person you want to be.

Gloria:

Thank You.

Dear God, what would You like to say about Christmas, the celebration of Jesus' birthday?

God:

I would say it is very good to think of Christ at any time, for your thinking of him cultures his high vibration within you. His high vibration is already within you. It need only be awakened. I say his high vibration. It is yours; it is already yours, and it is the same holiness that was within him. He said that all he can do, you can do and more.

Which of My children is ready to accept that?

Show me one.

Jesus the Christ walked the earth in peace and joy, and so gave you a model. He is not the only one who walked the earth so attuned to My heart. His death, the circumstances of his death, made him and his sharing of truth most memorable. And, of course, My Will.

It is not Jesus' fame that you need.

It is not his career you need.

You do not need to become an intinerant preacher.

All you need is his daring.

All you need is his faith, and then you would have his daring.

It was no daring at all.

It was faith.

He merely did what was next.

He had unsheathed self-centeredness.

He had welcomed God-centeredness.

That is his story.

We could say that one difference between you and Jesus is that he wasn't afraid of the world. He wasn't cowed by it. He wasn't afraid of what someone would say or think about him or think about anything. He saw a bigger world. And he spoke to the bigger world that he saw. And so he opened the world to greatness. He said, "Here it is. God's world. Take it. It is yours."

Every Heavenreader who signs his name to a question and puts his heart out for all to read is signing up for truth. He is letting himself be counted.

Jesus put his chin out.

He said My Name.

He enjoyed My life as he lived it.

He sparked hearts.

He had fun.

He helped people be happy.

He spoke truth.

He lived truth.

He showed truth.

He healed with his faith.

His faith was no different from Mine.

He had the faith in his fellow man that I have in you.

That is knowing truth.

If the man Jesus walked the earth today, one glance from him would enlighten you because he would see clearly the truth of you. He would give you his light. You would catch his faith.

He would revolve your heart, and your eyes would land on Me. You would know the truth of Me.

Despite whatever you think and may have been led to believe, you are the truth of Me.

Jesus never died. His body did.

He lives in you, for I live in you, as I lived in him.

He also lives with Me in Heaven, as do you.

His princely love is given to you. It cascades over you. He is a master of love.

Be you that.

Acknowledge yourself.

Acknowledge that you are worth something.

Jesus acknowledged his worth.

He acknowledged that he was My Son.

That is all you have to do.

He accepted My blessings.

That is all you have to do.

Accept. And it is done.

Gloria:

God, I could weep for joy that such words from You come out of my fingertips.

God:

That is My blessing to you.

It is a favor returned.

I give you what I want.

I want you to have this and share it.

You want it and to share it.

Dear Gloria, how is that you are channeling from a Christian perspective — Christ, Archangel Michael, Mother Mary, rather than from a Hindu, Jewish or other perspective? Have there been any questions along those lines? I would be interested in getting your responses and God's, of course, if these questions have not been asked.

Gloria to Nancy O.:

I don't know. I can only speculate. And I still don't think I am channeling!

God to Nancy O.:

It is the language Gloria hears me in.

So your question is why.

It is the most familiar to her. She walked with Jesus when he walked on earth, as did you, Nancy.

She grew up in a Christian society.

Although she is Jewish, she is more familiar, not with Christianity itself, but with Christ's teachings as she found them this lifetime in literature. Unidentified and unnamed, but of the same truth as Christ's.

Gloria has also spent lifetimes, and a few months of this one, in India, and appreciates Lord Shiva and Krishna and all the aspects of Mother Divine in the Vedic knowledge, but the child in her is more comforted by Christ and his words. She was not conscious of that, Nancy, but it was always a strong thread within her.

So to answer your question, she was born in a time and place where it was likely this would be so. Because of her long-standing love for Jesus, this would be so.

She does not view Me as a Christian God or a Jewish One or a Vedic One. She just sees Me as God, this love and truth that she hears. She knows Me as this force that jars her heart. She knows Me as the Speaker of her heart. My name is inconsequential to her.

Mary or Mother Divine is simply the feminine aspect of the One God. That aspect exists no more, no less, than the masculine.

Gloria is comfortable referring to Me as He. It doesn't matter to her personally at all whether I am masculine or feminine or neuter. They are just words.

It matters no more than the exact date of Jesus' birth. What matters is that he was born, and he lived, and he lives still, and echoes of his love are still heard.
