There is that angle of thought that all illness comes from the mind. There is much truth in that, yet, in terms of day to day life, it is not so clear nor must it be, beloveds. There is more to illness than meets the eye. There is more to everything than meets the eye.

I have told you to disengage yourself from thinking about cause. There is the sense in which there is no cause. Consider, if there is no past, there can be no cause. When there is no prior, how can there be an after? There is simply whatever is right now.

Into what terrain of life do you enter? What setting do you give yourself today? What freedom do you give yourself, and what freedom do you take away?

If you must see your life and the world in a prescribed way, then you have withdrawn your freedom. If you insist on seeing and interpreting and valuing as you are accustomed to, you may well be accepting dried flowers instead of fresh ones. I would like you to hold freshly picked flowers. If you cannot accept fresh thoughts, take another look at your old ones. The recipes handed down in your family are not necessarily the loving kind.

How are you today? Have you changed your mind about anything? Have you opened your heart further recently? Have you gone to work by a different route? What happiness did you give to someone today that also brought you happiness? What are you going to do right now, and how do you feel about it?

If you are going to do something right now, or are in the middle of something right now that does not make your heart bounce for joy, what new approach can you take that will make your heart bounce?

Begin to stay away from the idea that something is wrong. Even when your computer is down, have the idea that it is right. At the very least, you are getting a break from your computer. Maybe you and your computer both need a rest. Is that really so bad?

Do you realize that you live on Earth where birds are singing, moisture is in the air, and growing greenery rises to the sun, and each day heralds the dawning of life? What is there to be unhappy about when such a creation as this exists? My children, you are in the Garden of Eden. Lush is the universe, and there is nothing you have to do but receive. All has been given to you to wrest joy from. You do not even have to wrest joy, just be open to the possibility of it. Be open to the possibility that joy is inviting you right now to come to her. Joy has her arms out wide to receive you.
