You try to settle in to life, but life is not like that. Life moves beneath your very feet, and you are escalated even as you stand still. One way or another, you move in life. You might as well give in and move with grace. Perhaps nothing in the world is to stay the same. If that is the case, and it has been proven to be time and time again, then perhaps you will do well to consider change as less of an intruder to be stopped and more as a guest to be welcomed cordially. In the relative world, change is supposed to be. It is not to be opposed. It is to be run with.

I have good news for you today. Today is a day unlike any other day. It is all new before you.

This day before you is like a pear tree, full with pears, ready to be picked. You may have to reach for some, but all are within reach. Do not hesitate, for this one pear tree is the only one today. This holy day is singular. It is a great offering, this day before you. It is here for you to use. It was made for you.

Dear Children, you do not need to be comfortable. Comfort is stasis.

You do not need to be uncomfortable either. Uncomfortable comes from control. When you have to be in control, you feel uncomfortable because control is resistance. Give up your control, and comfort and discomfort will be things of the past. They are of the past.

You not only have been wanting a smooth ride, you have been wanting a free ride.

You want transformation, but you do not want change.

You want what you want when you think you are supposed to have it.

Life is not either/or. You do not have one choice or two. You have many-petaled choices. When you were a child, you took a daisy, and you said with each petal, "He loves me, he loves me not." You left out other possibilities, that he likes you, that he makes you happy, that you like him and you make him happy. Life is many-layered and not so abrupt as "He loves me, he loves me not." Life is much more than one way and not another.

When you have anxiety, it is for no reason. It is always for no reason. I know you feel that something incites your anxiety. No matter what you perceive as the cause, there is no reason to it. It is manufactured. No matter how real-seeming, it is made up. What folly it is to feel anxious. It is no good at all, so what reason can there be to be anxious? Anxiety plays a pretend game. Your mind latches onto a conclusion, a judgment that serves no one. Anxiety serves no one. It wastes heart and mind.

When your very foundation is shaken, how do you know that this is not a good thing? Maybe your foundation is a tree that needs shaking, and now you will have greater access to the fruit.

Life is a shaking up, beloveds. It shakes your inherited beliefs. It shakes your view of the world and your place in it. What you call upheaval, upset, disturbance, aggravation may be the stirring of great new adventure.

Perhaps it is better to depend on other things rather than what you have been depending on.

In the relative world, everything changes. Flowers grow, and flowers fade. Metals shine, and metals rust. Even when there is inertia, change has its way. What is there about change that frightens My children so? Where did the idea come from that change is to be held back, that it is perhaps a little shoddy, and not quite acceptable? Change is the name of the game. Change signifies growing, beloveds.

Everything in the relative is changing. You are changing too. Changing means that you go ahead and let go of the past, not because I say so, but because there is no pause to evolution, beloveds. With every turn of the wheel, the world sings a new song, and so must you. At one time the past was current, but it is no longer. Now it is past.
