Behold the Light
If I had only two words to say to you, I would say, “Look up.” I would say, “Follow Me.”
If I had only one word to say, I would say, “Love.” I would wave to you and say, “Come.”
If I had no words to say, I would simply embrace you. I would embrace you with My listening, and I would embrace you with My love. And I would look into your eyes, and I would find Myself swimming in the light of your eyes. Beloveds, behold the light in your eyes. Behold the light of the Sun reflected in your eyes. Behold the light in your eyes that shines on the Sun. Let the light of your eyes sparkle as they look into the eyes of all. Let eyes meet.
When you meet another’s eyes, something happens. When you really look into someone’s eyes, there is a great embrace. Today look into the eyes of everyone you meet. Look deeply. Do not look away. As eyes meet, Oneness becomes apparent. It’s true, you can get lost in someone’s eyes and become Oneness. Oneness is not to be afraid of. What is it there of multiplicity that you would mind losing?
Do you really want to keep your ego and self-centeredness and such? Are they really so irreplaceable that you would keep them to ward off love?
Beloveds, love is the only thing that makes sense. Tell Me one thing that equals it.
The past does not equal it. The past might deny love for all the past is worth, and the past is worth nothing.
Look into someone’s eyes, and you are saying, “I see you.” Their eyes can only say, “I see you too.” Then as meeting eyes melt the strictures in bounded hearts, your eyes say, “I am you.”
And then together, your eyes and the other’s eyes, form a duet that says, “I am you.” And “I am you” becomes one big huge I-ness. There is no otherness to become. I-ness becomes Oneness because you see Me, and you speak to Me, and you speak of Me, and then you are I, with the awareness that there is nothing else to be, that there never was anything else to be. There is nothing else, so how could you be it?
There is Oneness in the Universe, and that is all there is. Anything but Oneness is an illusion, and it is a waste of time. Its only possible use is to bring you to Oneness. Yet why be brought to where you already stand? Oneness alone is.
False boundaries – all boundaries are false – have kept you away from yourself, from this sweet knowledge of yourself. The dream you were living was not always a good dream. It went far a-field. Your dream wandered down dark roads and up hills and dales that do not exist. Your dream became knotted yarn, and you spent your days trying to unknot it, this fictive dream that held you in its spell.
I would release you from that spell. I would say, “Open your eyes, and look into Mine.”
I would say, “And Whom do you see when you gaze into My eyes?”
I would say,” What can you possibly see but the Oneness of Our gaze? There is naught else to see because there is naught else that exists to be seen.”
And then We (I) would sing a song of Oneness, and so I sing My song all day long.
