You are growing in your consciousness all the time. This is inevitable. Consciousness is awareness. You are always gaining awareness of something. Awareness of what lightens you, and awareness of what does not. In that sense, we could say that life prods you.

We could also say that life is an invitation, that it holds many invitations, and you cannot accept them all. And so you choose.

You are not a dartboard of life. No. Nor are you the tennis ball batted back and forth. Nor are you the net that cannot move. Perhaps the tennis ball is life, and you are the hand that moves the tennis racket that hits the ball over the net.

In any case, there is no lack of choices in life. You are making them all the time. Set your intention, and your choices are made for you all at once. You can choose once and for all.

Where do you want to be? Start from there. That is what intention is. Intention is what you will. Intention already puts you at the finish line. How different life is when you know where you want to be! How easy life is when you obviate the detours!

You may ask, How do I decide what and where I want to be?

Then have the intention to be clear. Have the intention for whatever you want, and you will fulfill it.

When you have the intention to learn to drive a car, you learn how to drive a car.

Intention is setting out. It is not twiddling your thumbs, unless twiddling your thumbs is your intention. Intention is the starter.

You might as well be conscious of what you intend. You might as well be conscious of what you mean to yourself.

If you intend to be the finest Human Being you can be, choices make themselves. They present themselves to you. They line up in front of you.

No one intends to be a gloomy Human Being, but they may have given up on intending to be great. They may have intended for little.

Do not let the world decide your intentions. The world, for example, would tell you that illness must exist. And in the world's acceptance of that belief, and in your acceptance of that belief, somewhere, no matter how slightly, you see illness ahead for you. You have set the dial for it.

The world may tell you that you cannot succeed. The world may tell you that you are not worth much. The world may tell you or show you with a wink that untruth is rampant and acceptable.

You can intend to be worth a lot. You can intend to speak truth and come from truth.

Intend that which you desire.

Intend does not mean your intention must always be uppermost in your mind. It just has to be set.

I invite you to intend for greatness. Will you join with Me? Will you intend to be happy and give happiness, to be inspired and to inspire others, to be aware of the blessings in life and to bless others, to find merit in life and in yourself, to make good friends and to be a good friend, to keep rising higher in your awareness and gaining new perception and bestowing goodness and mercy upon all those who have the good fortune to cross your path? Will you intend today for all that which I desire for you? Are you willing?
