While you are in Human form, and while you believe in time and space, what is there for you to do but enjoy them?
Consider time and space as imaginary friends that you carry with you. Of course, the imaginary friends you had as a child were real, while space and time only seem real and you are carried by them.
If all of life is love, are not time and space manifestations of love as well? Is not the ticking of the clock also love? And is not the rug under your feet also love?
Space and time are not to be scorned. They hold great bounty, yet they are to be recognized for the illusions they are.

For then you do not take life so seriously.

It might help to put in a preposition I mistakenly left out! and to repeat the antecedent:

What I get out of it is that this whole life we take so seriously is really play-acting. It is AS IF. God wants us to take life not quite so seriously. Why? So we do not suffer so much.
God does not specifically say that in these words in this passage, yet God does want us to lighten up. If we could be less attached, if we could let go, life would be less harrowing than we often do experience it.

I was coming by to add my two cents, but Gloria put if beautifully: i understood that God was telling us that the life that we take so seriously is only an act.
If we realize life is only an act, i think we would enjoy it more. Not take things so seriously and personal. But this is just my personal opinion lol.
