This Way to Heaven

God said:

Let your heart be of gold. Let your heart be big. Do not curtail your heart, and do not curtail the heart of another. Let hearts be welcomed and nourished.

Where did you get the idea that it is wise to close your heart rather than open it? That it is better to save than to spend? Where did you learn that it is wise to close the heart of another? Where did the idea of preventing love come from? You must have that idea, for have you not governed your heart, rationed it, and made sure it would stand tall and look down and stay stalwart and exclusive?

Beloveds, let your heart be a commoner. No elitism for beautiful beating hearts. Let your heart be young and beautiful. Let it flourish. Do not put your heart on meager rations. Give it everything, just as I have given to you.

Be generous with your heart. Pour it out. Involve it.

Let Me say it plainly once and for all. You are not to close your heart. You are not to put anything before your heart. You are not to shake your finger at it. You are to open your heart. You are to be open-minded about your heart. You are to reveal your heart, strip it of any decoys and subterfuge. It is for you to serve your heart, not your heart to serve you. Of course, it will serve you. Let giving your heart – which is the same as to say giving up judgment and snobbishness – be the prow of your ship. Let your mind follow your heart, not the other way around.

Let your heart make sense of things. Your bossy mind will mess up your heart. Your mind is too self-serving. Your mind asks: “What’s in it for me?” Your heart asks, “What can I give?” Giving is what is in it for you. Giving is the balm that soothes your heart.

Don’t think that you are giving anything away when you love. When you love, you gain. When you love, you do not give yourself away. You find yourself. The glow of love sheds light on who you are. When you love, you give yourself a sample of your heart and the power that beats there.

Abandon judgment, and you will have a full-flowing heart. A full-flowing heart goes everywhere, which is what your heart is meant to do. You were never meant to be stingy with your heart. You were never meant to purse your lips and think that your love is too good to give away. Your heart is too good not to give it its sway, full steam ahead.

Oh, if you would only know the magnificence of your heart. It was made in Heaven, and it was made to give My love. It was not made for you to withhold an inch of it. Do not stint with your heart. When you do, you punish yourself. I extol you to love yourself. What propaganda have you listened to that you deem it wise to contract your heart, to hold it back, to defer it for another day, some future opportunity, to save it for anything at all? Saving your heart makes it stale. Your heart is meant to be used fresh daily, hourly, minute by minute.

If you can practice making music on the piano, you can practice making music with your heart. You can practice in silence. You don’t need to be up on a stage in order to practice your heart. Practice it now. See your heart ripen. See the ripples of love that flow from it, wave after wave of love flowing anonymously out to the world. See the world swimming and floating in your love. See the water mark rising high. See the world reaching all the way to Heaven, floating on your love.
