There once was One
Born of Love
Who grew into the remembrance of Who He was

Whether named king
Teacher
Friend
Or blasphemer

This self-aware Master
This hero adept
At transcending matter
And so-called natural laws
Heard and answered His call

By literally
Giving, what the world called, His all
Over to a greater purpose
One of humility and service
That understood Love's unlimited greatness
In all

This One
Who came to heal
By knowing Health
To reveal
Our abundant Wealth
Saw, with the vision and grace
That tore down walls

In our hearts
And minds
Was gentle and kind
In line
With the expansive divine
For He knew
That finite sorrows and pains
Were washed away by a power far more dynamic than time

That created time
In the first place
As this place
We could walk
Instead of fly
We could talk
As our way to communicate
Would could relate
Temporarily on a linear level

While
All the while
Our truth
Our Oneness
Never left Home
But is free to roam
And explore
To delight in or abhor
To enter and exit whichever door
Of free-will's take

This, He knew to be the deal
That only Love
And foreverness
Is the Truth
Is Real
And so, during His life, He died to fear
So to fully Hear
And See
And Be
What and Who We Are
Complete

So we can respect Him for sure
Revere and adore
Him for showing us beyond measure, our More
But to bow at His feet
Perhaps is not his desire for you
For me, or for anyone
Rather, He would entreat
Us to Know
Again, to Be
The innocent, inviolate Nature
That so lovingly love's
Because it Is Free
