Life, for me, had once been a thing of pain
I cried, knowing not the source of my tears
I disliked, knowing not how to escape from my dread
I wanted, Knowing not what I had
I died, knowing not for what I had lived
Yet on this day, in this hour, I Know
I have joined with the Spirit of Man and know only Her Song
I cry, yet no longer cling to my tears
For Spirit is Joy and dwells not in the river of sorrow
I dislike, yet Be-Come the Peace
For Spirit restores sight, showing all women and men as One With The Light
I want, yet "return" to Now
For Spirit, lacking for nothing, can only Be
I die, yet I live, yet Am I Life
For Spirit has always been and carries no end
Life, for me, had once been a thing of pain
Yet now I know
The, I Am
The, We Are
Of our Oneness, Perfectly Free
And where there is Freedom there is Joy
And where there is Joy there can be no pain
