God said:

To you goes My heart. To you goes My mind. You are My love, and you are My intelligence. I am the essence of you, and you are the essence of Me. We have a relationship beyond any other. Whereas I give you freedom and the freedom of free will, We also have an impenetrable bond. It is the bond of love which is so integral, so intimate, so encompassing that you are often hesitant about it, or, even, object to it.

You may feel you are giving up something to be in union and unison with Me, yet, of course, this is how you gain everything. You have everything already. Until your realization, you don’t quite gain it. Until you accept our absolute Oneness, you skirt around it. You run around the circumference of Me and, yet, you don’t quite land. You play a game called Distance or Ring Around the Rosies. You don’t come quite up to the plate.

Nevertheless, I surround you in My love which is vast. My love comprises everything. It comprises you. You may be the last to know. Perhaps hidden, yet, in every crevice of your heart and your Being am I. This is fortuitous. And this is how it is.

I, God, am inside you. I am inside everyone. It was ever so, yet not recognized nor accepted. Accept now that I am the rudder you go by. Mine is the ship you sail. You are the captain and, yet, there is a complete Being within you that whispers in your ear. Call Me your Guiding Star.

I am at your service. I take responsibility for you, yet not ALL responsibility. I do not take responsibility for any ignorance of yours, for I do not feign responsibility. You are your own sovereign person at the same time as your fealty is to Me. Why to Me? Because I am your Highest Self. When you do not recognize Me or the Power of Our Oneness, you do not recognize your very Self.

There is no need for you to be stand-offish with Me. I will not bite. I have never bitten. Do not be afraid of Me. I send you angels. I send angels to angels. I wrap you in My love, and yet you may toddle off without Me in the sense that you are unaware of Our association. You sit on a mountain top, and yet you think you are in a valley of decision when you live on a mountain top of love. I am the essence of you. What more do you want?

You are the King of the Mountain. You are the King of the Castle of My Love. All love is yours, and, yet, you back off from it as if it were too hot to handle. My love is not a fervor, you understand. Call My love Peace. Call it what you will, it is Love Supreme. It is love that does no battle. It is love from the inside out. It is love that is never not. Call on that love that is within you, the love that loves beyond all boundaries and beyond all conceptions. The way a star shines, so does the love in your heart when you let it be free to love as love does love.

No longer wrap your love in objections. No longer pick and choose. Just love in the same way you breathe. Love is as integral to you as breathing. You need no armor. Love is your power and your glory, and, so, We come back to Me.

This is the 4269th Heavenletter and God is still talking about our resistance to Him. It must be that giving up resistance is a long and gradual process. And this process must be done with kindness. God does it towards us with kindness and we must do it to ourself with kindness.

Our resistance is deep rooted. Our surface awareness might be wide opened to Heaven, ready to ascend. But it has to reach our cellular structure and our DNA. We have to evolve from the state of survivors to our original state of creators. But how much of our behaviors are still coming from the genes of survival? If we feel we "are giving up something to be in union and unison with God", is it that we still believe that what is presented to the body holds its promise? Money, power, relations: do they hold their promises? Does even death hold its promise?

In the relative world, to have everything means to add up single things together until it sums up to everything. But it is an impossible quest. When God says "you have everything already", this everything is not a total, it is a formless Oneness. "You may feel you are giving up something to be in union and unison with Me, yet, of course, this is how you gain everything."

This "this is how you gain everything" means that we have to choose (with our free will) between the soul, the Higher Self and the relative world, the body. In the relative world, the body is an end as long as we identify with it. In Heaven, the body on Earth is a means of communication that the soul uses to bring everyone back to absolute Oneness.

Beloved Normand, this is the numbered 4269th Heavenletter. You may remember that it took me a couple of years before I thought of numbering Heavenletters. We're closer to the 6,000th, I believe!

I love the point you make that God goes over and over the same points from many angles, and he does it with kindness which may be a form of patience yet, God is not intentionally patient. He simply has no impatience to get away from. Well, you know what I mean.

At the same time, I wonder about making conclusions that it must take us a long time before we can give up resistance, of that indeed is what this is about. It maybe doesn't have to be about resistance at all but simple more something like entering our DNA or something until it becomes a natural part of us.

Of course, dear Normand, I do grasp the common sense of what you're saying.

A couple of practical matters! There are always new people coming to read Heavenletters so, I'm guessing that God speaks to all of us at the same time AND He is also always, I believe, speaking to me. It's like digestion, and it takes some of us a little longer for digestion to take place. Probably not the best image.

I have a feeling that when our consciousness reaches the point we all so desire we don't even think about it, for it's on an entirely different level. We may already know and live it without perceiving that.

I'm not sure that we have to choose anything for God has chosen for us.

We live the two levels at the same time, yet, in the world of perception, time seems to have consistency and solidity. When I think about the artists, the olympic athlets, what do they do if not practicing for years until they reach a stage where it becomes natural and that is what we appreciate about those performers. We "see" their ease. Yet they have to go back to their practice even after the Olympics!

Time doesn't exist, yet it is only with time that we can transcend it.

To be able to say that "I need do nothing", I have to make a statement of allegiance, a truely undivided loyalty. Of course it is a truely undivided loyalty to God. I don't think I have YET this undivided loyalty because I have not completely withdrawn (mostly unconsciously) the body value from my mind. Dear Carmella, your comment has so much content. Even if we know that the relative world, projected through the body, is an illusion, it happens that some illusions really hurt physically. But the body in itself does not suffer. It is the mind that suffers through its projection into the body.

The mind feels "attacked" by sickness. So it becomes fearful and guilty. Why are we so torn apart between our understanding of God's omnipresent love and, at the same time, the experience of feeling to be separated from Him and from the rest of the world through sickness? We suffer from our split mind. The split part of the mind is concrete and give specific meanings to what is happening to it in the physical world. But the healthy part of our mind is not specific, it is universal, it has no specific object. It resides in God's mind.

One way to try to improve our physical condition might be to change the thoughts we project about it. Instead of projecting a meaning of attack, victimization, one might think that energy, as light, is neutral. A virus carries in itself the energy of life and light. Let's imagine that the "soul" of a particular disease is a pure light of God transforming and restoring the body. This might bring a shift in the thought process through the attribution of meaning. This shift goes from the concreteness of the illusion of sickness to the universality of our healthy divine condition.

This might be an answer to bring to God when He says: "I do not take responsibility for any ignorance of yours".
