Your beauty is incomprehensible to you while scratch marks seem understandable and accepted as the norm.

Dear dear dear Ladies in NATIVE English:))) in Italian, in German.....What is your opinon ?
What is the clear explanation of this sentence?

I mean "scratch marks"...Are they really scratch marks, or ??Or what???
