HEAVEN #2052 A Gift from the Universe June 18, 2006

God said:

Today is a gift to you from the universe. There wasn't time to wrap it or include a card. It simply is given to you as it is. It has been delivered to you. You will find it waiting for you on the doorstep.

Of course, you do have to get up to greet this day I have given you.
Yes, I am the universe, and you are too. So today is a gift you give to yourself. You pick it up. You do with it as you will.

It is like a baby delivered on your doorstep. There are many things you can do with baby. You can take it to your bosom. You can step over it.
You can decline it. You can give it to someone else. You can sleepwalk with it. You can pretend it isn't there.

But you do see that you have a moment of choice, don't you? You have moments of choice. Each moment is a moment of choice. You can ignore your day in the morning, and pick it up in the afternoon. You can do anything you want with this day.

Consider that you are making cotton candy, and you can swirl it any way you want. Consider it a cake you are cutting. You have choices as to how to cut it. Or consider it a day that you open your door to and go out and meet it. Consider it a purse you take with you. It is filled with many things. What will you take out of it to use?

Consider today a car you drive.

Consider it a feast you fill up on.

Consider the day as a drive you take. You pretend the destination is secret, yet all along you know where you are going. Sometimes you play dumb.

Sometimes you ask how to get to where you're going. The answer is to get going. The answer is to get started. Pondering how can take up your day.
But, even then, you will still get somewhere. You are on your way to Me, which is the same as to say peace and love and all those good things that you seem to think are far away. Beloveds, they are contained in this day I have given you. They are here within it. Look for them. They would like to be found.

Anticipate opening up the day of today. Perhaps you are looking for diamonds, and you get rubies. Perhaps you get coal. Keep looking through the package. There is any amount of treasure you can find there. Keep opening the package.

You are the only one who can open it. Everyone else opens his own day. You have to open yours. Clearly, you are not given the same day. And yet.and yet.

Perhaps you can add to the package. Perhaps you can pick some flowers and slip them in. Perhaps you can pick up something someone else dropped and hand it to them. Perhaps you can make the gift of your day a bonus to someone else. Perhaps you share their day. Perhaps you fill theirs with yours.

Today is handed to you, and it is yours to do with as you will. You may say you will it to be beautiful. Then consider the gift of today that I gave you like a coloring book and crayons. You have to color it in. You have all the colors to choose from. Even if the day is partly colored in, you have a lot to do with coloring in this page.

You may find yourself in a dark mood, but moods are by their nature changeable. Pick up a different crayon, beloveds. This is a day in your life. Make it as you will.
