You may have already noticed that your dreams are coming true faster. You desire a thing or a course of action, and, lo and behold, the next day it is already done. Have you noticed more of this? Not with everything, but many times? You think a desire, and before you know it, there it is fulfilled. How easy, how smooth life becomes. This is true sophistication, beloveds. This is better than a magician’s Open Sesame.

When your desires were not fulfilled so easily, there was a block like a chair blocking a door. There may have been a weakness of thought, and now the energy behind your thoughts is stronger. But never mind the cause, now your doorway to wish fulfillment is wider open, no longer just ajar. You do not squeeze your wishes, nor demand. They have the freedom to enter.

You will seek a solution to a situation, and then the solution appears. You had frowned about it for a few days, and then the solution walked in. If you had not frowned about it, perhaps it would have come sooner. Your consternation did not help. It was in the way.

It is My desire that all aspects of life be easy for you. Not that ease of life is the important thing. No, it isn’t. Everything in life does not have to make you feel better. The purpose of life is not for you to feel better. There is an insurgency in the world to feel better, as if that were the aim of life, so there are addictions and over-the-counter medicine. If you did not believe that you have to be made to feel better, and that something external to you has to do the trick, you might already feel better. Not that life has spoiled you, beloveds, just that you think it is supposed to.

Do not equate feeling better with happiness. Happiness goes beyond situations. Do not think that everything must be fixed so that you feel better. Happiness is not a palliative. The concept of feeling better says to you that something has been amiss, and now you need a reward, deserve a reward, and so feel you need something to make you feel better.

There is no desire of yours that I want withheld from you. I want with all My heart that you have everything in life as you desire, and yet this is only a miniscule part of life. Wish-fulfillment is good, yet there is far more to life than that. Truly, beloveds, your happiness in life is not dependent upon what comes in to you. It is better not to be so dependent on what comes in. And, naturally, there is always more you will want without feeling the kind of happiness that sticks around and is not dependent upon outside circumstances and events.

So, wish-fulfillment is good, and yet it is not the standard for your life.

Life is not meant to spoil you. What’s wrong with being spoiled is that it takes away gratitude from you.

The great thing about your desires being met is the gratitude engendered. Perhaps you spend more time on desiring than on thanking. It is not that you have to thank the stars that be. It’s that it does well for you to feel gratitude for all the blessings that are poured upon you, even to feel gratitude that you have the ability to desire. Isn’t that a wonderful thing to be grateful for?

Be grateful that you are alive in a world where desires can be fulfilled, yet where desires do not have to be fulfilled, and all is well either way.
