Choose Equanimity

God said:

It is not always clear to you what listening to your heart is. There is a distinction between doing what you want and listening to your heart. We have talked about this before. You would follow your heart every time if only you were sure it was your heart you were following. As it is, there is often a tug. You want to do something. You feel good about it. And then the world comes in and says it isn't a good thing to do, not the right car to buy, not the right road to go down, not the right choice. Your confidence got shaken. To listen or not to listen to those who advise, that is the question.

But how do you know?

You already know that because you want something doesn't mean it's a right choice. You have experienced this with serious romances, for example.

Sometimes you don't have a choice in the matter. Sometimes it is not up to you. The decision is wrested out of your hands.

Sometimes you want someone or something, and you get it, and then you are sorry.

Let Me say this about decisions that are yours to make, make them and don't look back. No matter how important-seeming a choice may be to you, it is not - I repeat - it is not the end of the world. It is not the end of your world.

Let Us not speak of mistakes. Even a mistake is not necessarily a mistake.

Do not second-guess yourself every moment, as if, out of a hundred candies, there is only one you are to taste. Taste one. Is it a mistake to have tasted the one you chose? Even if you spit it out, what is the mistake? You chose something, and now you choose something else.

In life, beloveds, choose equanimity. So-called right choice, wrong choice, just keep going along.

Based on the standards you set, life in the world is not perfect. The choices you make are not always perfect. No matter how skilled you are, no matter how experienced you are, no matter how dedicated you are, decisions are not always immaculate.

Can you imagine any of the Great Ones saying: "If I had walked down this street instead of that one, the whole outcome would have been different?" The Great Spiritual Ones knew better than to remonstrate with themselves.

Your life is made of choices, and choices have to be made. Be glad you make a choice. There are interminable choices you could make. Consider you do make the right choice.

We come back again and again to the point that results are not always the indicator to go by. You cannot have the result first and the decision after. There is no way for you to know that what seems like an incorrect decision may be better than the choice you did not make. You cannot know. No one knows.

You are not to wring the life out of decisions that are yours to make.

You attribute cause and effect. Everything can point to consequence and yet B does not always follow A. In the world, when B comes after A, it doesn't have to mean it was a consequence. What if everything is happening at the same time? What if there is no before and after?

What if you would let go of the past and all the mental churning of the past, what then, beloveds, what then?

Better to come to the place that the past and all the choices you make are not of huge consequence. There is you, and you are now, and you are to go forward, not backward. You are not to go backward even in thought. It is always the right choice to go forward. That means you may have to shrug your shoulders and keep moving.

let your heart make up your mind

Interestingly, the same day

Interestingly, Bernie, the same day you posted the above 7 words of wisdom, Lady Isis posted an extra excerpt from Heavenletters(tm) in both of her newsletters:

God said:

"All the knowledge in the world is not the same as awareness. Awareness is where you are. Knowledge is an accumulation.

"Of course, you understand, ignorant of learning, you could know Reality far greater than the most learned. Or the most learned could know greater than you regardless of all his learned knowledge. The point is that knowledge of Me comes from the heart and not the mind, and that is awareness.

"Don't misunderstand. It is excellent to have attention on Me. Study Me to your heart's content. Learn about Me every which way you like. Know about Me backwards and forwards, and know it is does not substitute for personal experience of Me..."

I'll come back and add the specific Heavenletter.

P.S. I can't find it. Beloved Jochen, can you find it?

Beloved Jochen, this is one

Beloved Jochen, this is one wonderful Heavenletter -- it has blown me away! I love the way God compares His Creation to a pie! This is one of those Heavenletters that I remembered not at all! I'm printing the whole Heavenletter here, and bolding those lines I want to remember always. This unforgettable Heavenletter that I forgot was written six years ago:

All the knowledge in the world is not the same as awareness. Awareness is where you are. Knowledge is an accumulation.

Of course, you understand, ignorant of learning, you could know Reality far greater than the most learned. Or the most learned could know greater than you regardless of all his learned knowledge. The point is that knowledge of Me comes from the heart and not the mind, and that is awareness.

Don't misunderstand. It is excellent to have attention on Me. Study Me to your heart's content. Learn about Me every which way you like. Know about Me backwards and forwards, and know it is does not substitute for personal experience of Me. And do not impose your knowledge upon anyone else.

Knowledge may be sought, then given. Knowledge unasked for is given to the winds. Your tongue may be lucid, but the hearer's ear must be eager.

This is My advice to all, to free thinkers and the entrenched. My advice is the same. Do not be so sure you are right, and then you will not impose your knowledge upon anyone. Accept. No one has to think the way you do. No one.

Knowledge is not necessarily an indication of awareness. Nor is it not. There are as many ways to reach Me as there are rays of the sun. The ways to reach Me are infinite. By reach I mean opening to Me and My light.

Beautiful is Our connection. It is not learned, beloveds. It dawns.

Awareness of Me can arise slowly or all at once. You can have full awareness of Me and be unaware that you do. This must be the case because I am Ever present, so it is merely a question of your catching on, catching on the to the fact that We are deeply embraced. I am already yours. You are on a scavenger hunt for Me. I am not hidden. I am right out in the open. I am so obvious that you don't see Me.

I blend in with the environment. I am so everywhere that you can't make Me out. I am discernible, only you have haven't discerned Me.

Our relationship is somewhat like a pie when you don't understand what pie is. The pie is already made. You see the crust. You see some apple slices peeking out or juice dripping. You see the brownness of the crust. You see the pan it is in. You see the whole pie and yet you do not quite grasp what pie is.

You see many varieties of pie, yet full awareness of "pie-ness" is not yet yours.

So many varieties of pies (My creation), and yet there is pie-ness, and all cooked pies come from an oven. Many pies are created, and they are all good.

You are all warmed in the oven of My love. The so-called least of you is yet wrapped in My arms. Of course, to Me, there is no least, and you are growing to that recognition as well. A small pie is yet a pie, and it is complete. It is as much a pie as a grand one. It has as much wholeness as everything else in Creation. The same hands made it. Variations on the recipe. Perhaps different cooking temperatures, perhaps different measurements and proportions, but still made with love in the warming chamber of My heart.

My love is complete but it is not finished. Like pie, My love goes off the edges. There is no periphery to My love.

My love encompasses itself. My love is every seed, every leaf, flower. Nothing is overlooked. The weed is as precious to Me as the rose. Each is beyond their configuration as is each day in the calendar, as is each rose in the garden and each stone on Earth.

How can love be compared to love when love is all, and nothing else is?

So beautifully you tell us how this translates love!

Your words make our hearts bristle with understanding and love. Thanks precious one.

George

Make your choice, accept it

Make your choice, accept it and live with it. There are always choices inside choices. A choice is a closing that is forecasting an opening. The outcome will always be better if you look at it with the proper glasses.

Your life is made of choices

"You cannot know. No one knows.."

"What if everything is happening at the same time? What if there is no before and after? "

AMEN !!!

So The yardstick or best choice indicator would be to follow the advice of the Great Ones:

Confucious - Do unto others as you would do unto yourself.

Jesus - the same measure that ye meet withal it shall be measured to you again; to live by the sword then die by the sword ... Love one another

Buddha - follow the middle way

But whatever choice one chooses it matter not the final consequence for you would have acquired another piece of life experience you had not before..
Composure Peace and Love should be the seed and fruits of your Life's choices. And always moving forward to choosing the next adventure.Remain not stagnant whatever brought you to a feeble pedestrian.

Glory be to the name of my Father.

Love to all hearts.

Victor

A famous ball player used to say: "if you come to a fork in...:

Now we know that if we come t a fork in the road we should take it.
Each chose you make seems right and good in the now but in retrospect we shiver with doubt and wonder if it was a good choice. Life is like that, deal with it.
