Being and Creativity

Sutra Number:

Gloria to God:

I woke up with the thought that Your calmness, Your Being is what makes You mighty.

God:

I am total Being. I am not much for running around.

Gloria:

There is a Vedic saying: Established in Being, perform action.

God:

Being, first. Action, after. This is not thinking before you act. It supercedes the need for thinking. It is being in a place where your every action brings the desired result.

I should say it is almost not thinking. It is not thinking through, but more thought as a direction-finder.

Like, let's say, the desire is the wind in your face. You simply turn to where the wind is. There is nothing you have to do.

The King sits on his throne. He casts his eye, and one of his servers reads his wish, and supplies it.

You are the King, and when you sit on your throne, nothing is denied you.

Become total Being as I am, and all your wishes are fulfilled before your very eyes.

This is a place where all is easy. Where there is struggle, your access to Being has been derailed.

Gloria:

Does this apply to the formulation of the Heaven web page?

God:

This is where fun comes in. Fun is the absence of struggle.

When creating the web page feels as good to you as receiving a new Heavensubscriber, then it will be done.

Fun is non-attachment.

Fun is ribboning your life, not wrapping it, but sliding on satin ribbons of it.

Remember the importance of desiring, but desire without tension.

Have you asked Me about Our web page lately?

Gloria:

No.

God:

Ask Me for My help with the Heaven web page. Ask Me to remove the blocks to it within you.

Gloria:

I thought my blocks were my impatience and the need for more giving over the web page to You.

God:

Dropping something isn't exactly the same as surrender. It is not wiping your hands of it. Surrendering is more like this:

"God, it seems like a Heaven web page would be a good thing to have. I am unable to get it together myself, so I ask for Your help, for Your total Being to help make it happen soon and in a form glorious enough to represent You. I will ask You every day to design it, and then I will follow my impulses."

Gloria:

Sometimes I have thought I am trying to put too much into it. Does it need to be simpler than I have been thinking?

God:

Make it play, as a child would do it. Surprise yourself with it. Let go of what you see as rules for a web page.

Make it a board game if you wish. Make it a web page like no other. Make it one that has never been done before. Make it a trip to Heaven. Do you get the idea?

You have been looking at the web page as some kind of final exam on which a lot is at stake.

Forget the end result and think of making it as a creative enterprise.

Do something entirely different with it. Make it a consciousness-bending event.

Make it a party at which there is an irresistible table of sample hors d'oevres.

Make it a song.

It is not a blueprint. Blueprints are not fun for you.

Make it in color.

Make it wild.

You know how to do creative things. Stop doing it how you think it should be, and do it in an unheard-of way that makes you happy.

When you taught school, you had your children do all kinds of fun projects. They were fun because they used imagination. You did not even give boundaries to the children; the projects were wide-open.

You do not enjoy making a web page like every other.

The sky's the limit with My Heaven web page.

The most important thing is that you have fun doing it, and fun for you, Gloria, is using your imagination.

Brainstorm craziness out of which will come a simple beautiful web page of delight that many will walk through.

Do not be proper, serious. Be a two-year-old making a web page!

You have been trying to wear the world's adult high heels, and you would rather be barefoot.

Make a barefoot web page.

Make a surprise web page.

Make an impossible web page!

Make a boundless web page.

Make up a web page angel that takes the reader on tour. Or make it a cartoon Heaven web page. Play with ideas. Stop being sober about it. Don't make it logical. Make it free. Make a fun web page, and then it will be fun to put it together.

You cannot do dry things. You must make a dew-filled web page for Me.

Toss ideas around, and they will spill over you.

Does doing a web page seem more enjoyable to you now?

Gloria:

Oh, yes!

God:

I am teaching you to let go of prescribed and preconceived ideas. If you were still teaching school, and you gave your children an assignment to make a web page, wouldn't it be a fun-filled assignment, and wouldn't they come up with marvelous ideas?

Ideas would be rampant.

Unexpectedness would be rampant.

The assignment would be a free-for-all, amazing expression and experience of energy unbound.

Play with ideas and do some somersaults with them.

Create the first web page in the world. There are no examples to go by. You start fresh. What would you make it like? Find out!

Gloria:

Thank you very much. You make me feel inspired.

God:

Right now don't look for a result. Look for many imperfect ideas. Look for wild. Look for delight. That is how to begin.

Suspend adultness.
