Judith to God:

Dear God, when we feel mired down, depressed, confused, angry, jealous, guilty, etc etc, is it "lost beings" in the "astral plane" that are attracting us because they have similar unresolved negativities that are magnifying our thought-feelings? In other words, like attracts like, creates synergy and makes the thoughts? Is this true?

Is this the same principle that attracted You to Gloria? And us to Heavenletters? When You speak of thinking only of God, are You saying that choosing only thoughts of love, kindness and happiness, etc., and electing not to choose dark thoughts is the manner in which we unite with You? Is this our free will - the choice to think/feel goodness, or Godness?

What is our relationship to the 'lost beings'(if they exist), and/or dark thoughts? Do we "en-light-en" or heal ourselves and other beings in and out of bodies by continually employing our free will to simply choose You — or Godness? Is there such a state of consciousness as "enlightenment" (or heal-th/at-one-ment), or is life really a moment to moment en-lighten-ing, a heal-ing, a wholing, an intention of uniting with You with each thought, communication and act? If the idea of interfering 'beings' is superstition, I would like to know this. Your answers would help me to understand the mechanics of these ideas.

Dear God, please remember that I have loved ones that seem to be embroiled in much 'darkness', and even though You have clarified to me what my relationship should be to their activities, I would like to somehow bring light to their lives. I know there are a lot of questions here. Gloria is able to have a conversation with You and ask several questions to come to a sense of clarity, while we (I) don't have the same ease of dialogue. I apologize, but hope You will target the central thought.

By the way, I wrote this letter before the June 24 Heavenletter about negativity came out. The subject seems to be a popular one.

God to Judith:

My dear beautiful Judith, it is the mechanics that you want to take your attention from.

I give you a feast to eat, and you ask to know the chemical composition.

I say to you, choose the foods that give you nourishment. Have your attention on them. Eat them.

You can think about the foods you don't like, are uncomfortable with, or simply disagree with you. You can think about the people who might want your food and don't have it. You can think about the people who eat tainted food, and wonder what you can do to give them whole food. There is no lack of things to think about.

Your questions really have to do with energy.

Some of your family, good people that you love, seem to be attracted to, or caught up in, or by, spirit or spirits that do not live on earth or in Heaven, and you want to be a friend to your family and lift them higher to Me.

You can only do that by lifting yourself higher.

Your attention on their focus of energy and the energy they attract or the spirits that pull them is a diversion for you. Diversion rather than attention.

Attending to Me is leaning to Me, Judith. It's like listening to My footsteps. I don't want to say it's waiting for Me, but it is being alert to what you sense as My arrival or established presence.

Or you can be alert to the arrival of something else.

There are many chemicals in the earth, and many are deemed poisonous. But you feel no need to put your attention on them. They exist, but when are you thinking of them or looking to avoid them or to help the people who are fascinated by them?

Fascination and diversion and attraction exist in many forms.

Are there pockets of energy out to get you? Are there negative forces that lure? Do you attract them, or do they go after you?

Are you drawn to helping your brother or is he drawn to pulling you into what interests him?

Mutual, Judith. Mutual.

You do not feel good from what interests him. That is enough. Leave it. And leave your dear brother to Me. Leave it all to Me. Leave your thoughts of fascination about this with Me.

I think, dear one, you have enough to deal with on the overt simple earthly plane.

Consider all areas of life as books in a library. You cannot read them all. You pick up a book and flip through it and put it down. You don't have to read it. There are too many books to read for you to read all those that want to be read. Find books you really like to read and that you can sigh from joy in. Although there are many books on the occult, and there is curiosity about the occult, my question would be: Why do you need to know? What do you need to know? What satisfaction do you think it will give?

I am the Only that will satisfy you, Judith. You do not need to stop along the way to Me. What delays your foray to Me is diversion. Come to truth. Come to beyond diversion. Enter My heart, Judith. Come to Me.

Trust your brother to My care. Give your thoughts and concerns about him to Me. That is doing something. Anything else you think of to do for him is wandering. The energy of thought exists everywhere. You choose your thoughts. You agree to them.

Surely I sought Gloria. And surely I seek you. I seek all My children. There is no difference there. Seek Me more than you seek knowledge of Me. Seek Me more than you seek understanding of Me. I am already within you.

Gloria has no more of Me than you do, My love. She has done nothing more to earn Me. She earned herself.

Gloria does not know how I came to be so much of her life. She doesn't know if I chose her or she chose Me or how it could ever have happened that her heart could be so wrung with My love. Yes, it is My grace, and, yes, it is her grace to herself. She came to accept. Somehow, she came to accept.

Yes, I accepted her. I accepted her long ago. I accepted you long before you can remember, Judith. Now it is merely a question of your accepting Me. Agree to Me.

Keep looking for Me, Judith. I exist. I AM. And I am within you. Still your mind. Your mind is a defense to keep your heart from Me. There is nothing to fear with Me, My dear Judith. Nothing to fear with Me.

It is not that you have to think goodness etc. It is the mind that thinks, but it is the heart that knows. A simple heart will pick Me out. A heart knows truth. The mind knows nothing. The mind tries to keep everything. The mind plays a long piano. The heart plays one note. Be simple-minded, not complex-minded. The mind only thinks it is smart. The heart is wise, and doesn't know its own wisdom. That is innocence.
