Annette to God:

Dear God, thank You for reminding me of Your infinite love for all. Your words melt my heart and make me want to cry for sheer joy and relief!

As of this moment, God, I am entrusting my sister and brother P. into Your loving arms.

I am going to begin a new habit of surrendering my worries to Your love, and I am going to allow myself to think of myself as being robust.

Just a couple more questions about my health, though, just so I understand completely. Do You mean that I really don't have to have TMJ anymore, that my left jaw joint can also be completely healed? Is that really possible SOON, God? Can I stop wearing a jaw splint at night when I sleep and still wake up pain free? Can I even throw the splint away? Do You think I can really do that, God? If so, I am going to be the happiest person in the world!

And can I stop taking herbal remedies for my digestion and to make my bones stronger? Is it possible that I really don't need them? It would be wonderful if the answer is yes, because the cost of buying so many herbal remedies is a real burden for us.

Or will all these things take some time? I want to know that it can it be true now, this very moment!

God to Annette:

You are welcome, dear Annette.

You understand very well about attention. You have given much attention to weakness in health, looking for signs, being alert to them, waiting for them to go away or get worse. Turn your attention now to strength.

You live in a society dedicated to looking for fault and weakness. Everything around you tells you to depend on outside conditions, medicaments, and someone else's opinion.

Of course, you or anyone can be healed of anything instantly. Christ gave evidence of that. The blind could see and the lame walk. Each person heals himself whatever the impetus. Christ brought light in. His vision was like a laser that healed. His vision saw wholeness and so he created wholeness. His vision and his knowing were so clear and so forthright and so undeniable, that those near him were also lit up with his light. Their doubts flew away because Christ had none. His faith washed over them. His faith was not in himself but in Me.

Christ did not heal anyone to prove anything. He didn't test My ability or his. He held faith far greater than a mustard seed.

So the question is not: Can you be healed?

The question is: Can you leave off what you have depended on? I do not mean just stopping using a splint or herbs. I mean: In your deepest heart can you see My light enough to know that splints and herbs are only props? Can you stop putting your faith in illness? How much of My love and purity can you accept, not from willingness, but because that is what you know?

I think it is asking too much of yourself all at once to throw away crutches. You are still looking for the faith to come from somewhere. Of course, ultimately, it does comes from Me, but establish My truth within your heart and mind so that your faith is, in truth, invincible.

The truth is that there is one thing to heal, My dear Annette, and that is doubt. That's what lack of faith is: doubt. If there were faith, illness would not exist in the first place. Man invented it. Plagues come from doubting societies.

Now start reminding yourself that God heals. It is not time that heals, nor man, nor medicaments, nor fate but God Who heals. But meanwhile you have well-learned to believe in all of those things. When you believe in Me more than you believe in them, when you truly do, dispense with them. Keep them so long as you think they heal; for that long so will you crave them. If in stopping to take them, you then look for evidence that you don't need them, your mind is still depending on them.

You are not on earth to prolong your body. That is not your purpose. It certainly is not your highest purpose. Serve your highest purpose which is to exemplify My truth on earth by joining with Me and calling attention to Me and My wonders on earth. Each of My children is a wonder on earth because each is God's love made manifest. No less you, Annette. Be inspired, and your health will take care of itself. Now just don't think about it.

Ask Me to give you faith for faith's sake, not faith for healing or any result, but faith innocent because you want to know your Oneness with Me.
