Gloria to God:

In looking over a few Heaven's written not long ago, I saw that I had asked you about feeling happier, and you gave Me a beautiful answer, so beautiful it should have soothed any heart. But apparently I had forgotten all about it, because yesterday at the Godshop, I wrote to you about that subject again. I said:

Dear God, I am never so happy as when at a Godshop or writing to You. I don't really seem to know how to be happy like other people in the world.

At Godshop…

God:

Who taught you that, Gloria? Where did you learn that from?

Gloria:

From my mother I suppose. But, God, do I have to learn to have fun like I had to learn to drive?

God:

No, you have to give yourself permission to have fun.

Gloria:

My fun seems to be at Godshops and writing to You. Then I feel like I'm in the presence of Greatness.

God:

You are always in the presence of Greatness. Your awareness has to be there.

Gloria:

It seems impossible that I could ever forget about You, but I do. At the same time as I write this, I think, if I had known twenty years ago that I would be speaking and listening to You, I would have been so happy just to know that sometime that would happen. And here it is happening, and I still feel lack. I seem to want more, and yet, how can there be more of You, dear God?

God:

There can be less interference. There can be less holding on. There can be less trying to understand. There can be more acceptance and less resistance. There can be more giving of Me as you find more joy in life.

Annette to God:

Dear Beloved God, thank You for Your answer yesterday, September 29. I did start feeling better as soon as I sent the question and before I received the printed answer, because I felt Your love within me. I felt loved. And I realized something that now seems so obvious that I don't know how I missed it, namely, that it's not so much that You heal us as it is that You are healingNESS, or wholeness, and healing is what occurs spontaneously when we open to Your loving light. I am improving, as You pointed out.

As You know, I did start school, and I'm enjoying it so much that I forget any illness until class was out. But now, thanks to Your beautiful answer, I know what to do and I'm going to make the most of my new life.

Thank You for all You are teaching us. You are the constant and ultimate blessing of our lives. Oh, that I could just never forget it for a moment!

Diane to Heavenletters:

I have been consumed with preparing for my church service which I gloriously gave yesterday. It was about joy and singing, and I was afraid. I had many prayers and talks with God for a few days. I was able to get to the point where I could FEEL that it was all for Him and no one else. I sang His songs, I talked about His Joy. It was a transforming experience. I now feel ready to move forward in His workshops.

God to Diane:

My dear Diane, I congratulate you. When the Find God Workshops are from Me and to Me, then there is a strong beam of light between us, so coherent and so powerful, that it lights the world, and the world of ego disappears. If the Find God Workshops you develop and present belong to you and you give them for the individuals who enroll, the scope is less. The structure may be the same, but the difference is in the magnitude of the light.

It is also simpler. Your faith is put where it belongs. Through giving all credit to Me, your Heavenly Father, you will not take on others' woes. You will be free of entanglement. And you will be training the attendees also to place their wreaths of Laurel on My head, not on yours and not on their own.

Much joy is awaiting you. Step up to the plate.
