The Ease of Swimming with God

Judith to God:

Your letter to Diane July 1 very much caught my attention. It spoke to me very powerfully. I see that my mind wants to sabotage Me and hold on to shame and unworthiness. I was going to say "my" shame and unworthiness, but it does not belong to me. I know that these beliefs are the impressions my mind has gained from experience.

The question is: how do I get my mind to drop the beliefs? They seem to be deeply embedded. In the past, You have given Me experiences which have made it VERY clear that I am not the unworthy and shame-laden being that I believed in, yet these experiences pass and the false beliefs return.

How does the knowledge of who we REALLY are become permanent and real for all time?

When You say to "leave behind all that keeps your heart away from Mine", I WOULD LOVE TO DO THIS. How come it doesn't just happen? What do I have to do to make it happen?

God to Judith:

My dear beautiful daughter Judith, you do not have to make it happen.

You do not have to make it happen.

You do not have to make it happen.

Allow it to happen. Simply allow.

Let the truth of who you really are be.

There is nothing to change.

Just things to drop off.

You are My divinity with or without knowledge of it.

Please do not want to control so much. That is wasted effort. Let go of effort.

Lean towards acceptance.

Not that you MUST accept. Just be aware that acceptance is an option.

Accept even that you can go in and out of God-consciousness. Think more about your going in than you do your going out. Put your attention where you want it.

Regretting the passing of experiences is a form of control. It is trying to hold in place. It is having to have.

Have quiet easy desire, dear daughter.

As for beliefs, they are not all from your experience. You drank them in. Indeed deeply imbedded. Others' impressions were handed down to you as they were handed down to them. They are not yours, Judith. You do not own them. They are NOT part of you. They are foolish baggage that you have collected.

Impressions are all from the past. And the past is nothing compared to now.

When you live in the present, there are no impressions! Nothing is pressed in, stamped as it were. Everything is water flowing, and you flow with the water. How easy it is.

Establishing yourself with Me is easy, Judith.

It is like swimming.

Swim with the tide of My love.

You do not have to know how to swim.

Flow with My love.

Don't hold on to it.

Let it lift you.

There is no struggle.

This is your lesson.

Struggle is a form of control.

You flail your arms when they are better opened.

Perhaps you enjoy the struggle.

Maybe you think the struggle is life.

Maybe you think you have to go the long way round.

You are struggling to reach a destination, and you are already there.

You are the person looking for her glasses that are on her forehead.

Struggling is unnecessary.

It isn't even sincere.

Desire is another thing.

Yet desire not accomplishment for yourself.

Be like a flower who desires to reach the Sun.

The flower doesn't struggle for that.

It knows its own naturalness goes for the sun.

It looks up.

And the sun reaches it!

Never mind what you want and what you want now.

Think of what I want.

Do it for Me.

Do nothing for Me.

Swim in life for Me.

You do not have to go upstream.

You can even stop at the bank of My stream and dabble your feet there in the flow of the stream called life.

Judith, Judith, Judith, you are in the right place. You are where you are supposed to be.

You are My beloved.

You are in My heart.

You are My beautiful child.

In all moments you are.

You have too much dissatisfaction, dear one.

Give yourself satisfaction.

Please yourself more easily.

Sit and write to Me.

Open your notebook along with your heart.

I am right here with you.

Experience Me for Me.

Forget Judith for a while.

Who is she anyway?

A personality.

Come embrace My love.

Be with Me.

Be where you are.

Joyce M. to Heavenletters:

Hi, Gloria! Thanks for putting my note in Heavenletters July 20. God's answer is right on: my striving is really driven by the desire to avoid feeling unworthy by trying to prove my worthiness! I'll have to look at this more deeply, and will let you know what I find.

I am forwarding two recent Heavenletters to a friend of mine. I think she might really enjoy them.

Thanks again and love to you and God.

Nancy O. to God:

Dear God, thank you for being my Guide and clarifying for me my misperceptions about loving. I am thankful for the part Heavenletters and Your words of wisdom have added to my understanding. Whenever I ask, You are quick to respond and I see You everywhere.

It still puzzles me why I have any doubt, if that is what I am expressing by not being in the state of unconditional love every day. By just accepting, life becomes very easy, doesn't it? So, I will pray for total acceptance of what is happening and surrender to Your love on a daily basis.

Your loving daughter, Nancy O.

God to Nancy O.:

Good going, Nancy. Good.

Diane to God:

Dear God, remember my old agreement to find passion through suffering and the new one I just made to find passion through joy? And I asked for Your help. Well, THANK YOU, GOD! We just returned from our week at the holistic institute, and I have had the time of my life! I have never felt so good for such an extended period of time in this lifetime. We created a tribe, we danced, we sang, we sweated, we did yoga, we appreciated nature, we lived with open hearts. You were so visible. I learned how to create song all the time. Thank You for this magnificent blessing.

God to Diane:

I am visible.

Julie H-S to Heavenletters:

I have really enjoyed and benefited from Heavenletters. Thank you so very much. Thank you very much for what you have added to my life, and the Light you have shown on my path. You have certainly been an inspiration to me! Many blessings to you.
