The Bank of God
Gloria to God:
Dear God, miraculously, I feel better.
God:
You feel better because, of necessity, you turned your attention more to Me. It is that simple.
Gloria:
Can it be so simple?
God:
Yes, it can, and it is. It is like you have your fingers clutching a rock because you are afraid you'll fall. That is your attachment to fields of human love. Life makes you let go, and you discover you were not in danger in the first place. There was no need to clutch. No more illusion to clutch.
Do you notice how you can accept My love and strength, and you are strengthened, not weakened? That is Our connection: strength. It isn't that you HAVE to have Me; it is that you have Me. I am not an oxygen tank but the very air that you breathe that surrounds you.
You have no obligation to Me. You do not owe. I take nothing from you. I give. We are two-way in that I give, and you accept. You cannot take anything away from Me, and I can only give. In truth, Gloria, what could I take from you? What do you have but what I have given you? That is what it means: I am the Source.
It is like I am your account at the bank. You take money (energy) out of your own account with Me.
All have their own accounts with Me, and you do not go to someone else's account and take out their money (energy).
There is no need to. And it doesn't work.
My love and energy are limitless, eternal, and universal.
When you attach to another, you steal their energy (money). When you love without attachment, you don't steal anything; there is no hold, no lien, no debt.
Love like I do, and you have and give freedom. Love like I do, and you take nothing.
You give nothing either in the sense that you pay no price.
When your love is attached to another, it is not only the other who is imprisoned, but you as well. Take no prisoners on any level.
There is something in astrology where planets are considered combust. So close together are they that one sucks the energy of the other, or masks it, covers it up, cancels it.
Be not combust with another human being.
Know that it is not necessary.
Be not combuster nor combustee.
Be a freewheeling wheel of life.
Love, and don't get stuck there.
Don't feed off of another.
You both grow smaller.
Unattached, you both expand.
How do you know your own strength in Me when your heart is buried in another?
Consider yourself a book in a library. I am the library. You are close to other books; you touch them, but you do not insert yourself in them, nor do they in you.
A borrower may select you off the shelf, take you home with him, spend time with you, but he returns you from where you came. He never owns you, nor are you owned.
You, library book, give your knowledge to all who wish it, but impartially. In this way, you do not give less; you give more.
A library book does not get stapled. Pages are free to turn. It is easy to open books.
Be you an impartial book open to all who wish to read. Do not sequester yourself. That is a form of hiding. Do not immerse yourself in another, for that is burying yourself.
Consider yourself a gear, and a dear friend a ratchet. You encircle each other without grabbing. You engage each other in freedom.
Both roll along in life and whistle their own tune.
When you attach to another, some kind of immobility accrues.
But you are a giver of mobility.
This does not mean you flit.
By all means, love deeply, but love deeply without embedding.
This is why Karen says to give My love and not your own. My love is bigger. Anything less than Mine is attachment.
Be not a sucking octopus of love. Be a sun of love.
Pure sun. Pure love. Pure love joining but not enjoined.
Pure love, shining its rays, connected tightly to the Big Sun and to no other. Dispense your God-given rays to warm the world and not merely a corner of it.
