Take Comfort in God's Light
Gloria:
Dear God, what would You like to tell us this morning?
God:
Eschew judgment. Just accept.
From acceptance comes love.
And remember, faith is for Me, not people.
Take comfort in My light.
People around you are scenery.
Enjoy the scenery.
You and I are the travelers.
We pass by different terrains.
Look at the sights as they are, and do not try to make a tree where there is sand or rain when there is sun.
See what passes by you.
Let it slip away from you as you slip away from it.
You are all passersby in the night.
Gloria:
Sandra's beloved husband David just died. Because of his heart, the doctors had given him until last August to live, and he lived six months longer. Sandra and David were very close, and she is understandably devastated at his death.
God:
Tell her that David is close to Me now.
Love doesn't die.
Beautiful love.
Sandra's focus now will be different.
She can let David go to his happiness.
It was his time to leave the boundaries of earth.
Tell her to be happy for David.
She can bless him to Me.
She can bless herself to Me.
She can mourn, and then come back to love.
My children mourn for themselves.
David has taken a journey that is not yet Sandra's to follow.
He has gotten ahead of her.
Beautiful David.
Now Sandra will make her way in life with Me at her side.
My love for her and David is not less because his body died.
He did not want that body any longer.
And he has not left Sandra.
Love stays.
He now loves Sandra from a vaster perspective.
His love is not less.
It is so hard for My children to let go of their loved ones' physical form. The physical is a form. The body is not the being. The being is light. The being is My light. The being is permanent. The body impermanent. Everyone knows this, and yet everyone is stunned when it happens.
Sandra has to forgive herself, David, Me, the doctors and anyone else.
Send David on his way, Sandra, with beautiful flowers of forgiveness from you. Reassure him that you love him and bless him and support his journey. Cry your tears for yourself and your son and the passage of earth time, but wave and smile to David.
He has taken a ship across an ocean to a far distant land that you can barely see through the mist.
All will take this journey.
It is a blessed journey.
You will join him bye and bye on this Great Adventure.
It is an Advent, Sandra.
Ask Me to help you in what you experience as loss.
I will help you.
I am not called the Great Comforter for nothing.
Give Me a chance.
Give yourself a chance.
Soon or late you will.
Why not soon?
Know I am with you on your heart's journey.
Know I am with David.
Know I am integral to all.
Express your emotions to Me, Sandra.
You do not have to be all sweetness and light with Me.
Speak your heart, and let Me answer it.
Gloria:
Dear God, that is very beautiful, and I nod my head at its truth. But I also know that when death has come to My loved ones, I am not so wise. It just seems, God, that death is an awful thing to have happen, that it is the worst thing that can happen, and even the thought of its happening to a loved one is intolerable.
God:
I know, I know.
Base your life less on the physical. Depend on it less. Love more. Love bigger.
Yes, I know it is easy to say that love goes on, only the body dies and so on. It is easy for Me to say because I know firsthand. I know the loved ones are here with Me, and I know they are filled with My light and love. I know Truth. I always knew it.
You have been brought up to think that death of the body is tragic. That is a myth, you know.
Gloria:
I read somewhere once that when we peel an orange, we know that it is only the skin that has come off. We don't weep because the skin is off or think the orange is no more. Yet we mourn the passing of the body.
God:
In terms of truth, death of the body is less than the paring of the skin of an orange. The orange has lost some protection. The soul has not.
But My children mourn for a chair that breaks, for a necklace lost or sold, for an honor taken away, for a photograph torn, for a memory forgotten, for their childhood, for every little thing. It is not surprising that they mourn for the death of a soul's body.
Priorities are not always well-set.
Everyone seeks for happiness. Everyone. No exception. Only they look for where it is not, and won't give up looking for where it is not, no matter how many times it is not, until one day they wake up and notice and look up and see Me.
My children tend to be stubborn. What does stubborn mean? It means holding on to what is not no matter what. Stubborn holds on to the past, no matter what it was. Because something was, it must still be. Then future and present are based on the past. In other words, based on ignorance. The past is always less than now. I am All Now.
Come to Now, and you have come to Me.
Rest assured that all is well.

Bobbie to Gloria:
While my sister Bev is much more spiritual than I, I found several of the Heavenletters very insightful and helpful, especially the one about the aged fighting at the end of life, and I find that I am able to spend a very pleasant time with my mother now, so that is a priceless gift.
I will subscribe to Heaven and send out a check today.
Thank you.
God to Bobbie:
Spiritual is often a misused word. No one has more spirit than another. All are equal in what I have given.
Julie to Gloria:
Please forward my thanks to Lucile for her question. The answer was of course wonderful. It always phrases itself for me in terms of Faith or Fear. To relax and enjoy the ride, knowing All is God, not just what we choose, but all. The prayer God Lucile gave was so sweet and uplifting.
