Souls Know No Boundaries

Gloria to God:

Dear God in Heaven and on earth, I think I figured out this enormous tenderness/love between Karen and me. I find myself in her, and I love myself in her. She finds herself in me, and she loves herself in me, so it is our own Self we love, each handed to us by the other — of which there is none!

God:

You learn more love of My creation through each other because you are My creation.

Everyone you look at is a mirror of you. There is such an attunement between two that you are one heart and what, in truth, you see is Me.

Think of that. To look in a mirror and see Me.

Every mirror Christ looked into, he saw Me. He saw beyond the form, and saw Me blazing.

When you do not see Me, there is an interference that blocks true vision. Usually a judgment.

Christ felt so safe that he didn't need judgment to block him from danger. He knew his perfect safety, and feared not lepers nor common opinions of the world.

He could stand firm. He was established. His love was not the eye-fluttering kind. He saw imperfection and did not kid himself or the other, but he also saw the core of My light shining in each, and he revealed that soul to the bearer of it.

As a parent does not pretend that his child is cute to eat all the candy or to beat up another child, he does see that his child is learning and makes mistakes along the way.

So, treating others with love is seeing error and not condemning them for it. A struggling soul in struggle commits error. However grievous, it is error and nothing more. Beyond that error am I.

Back to you and Karen, what shall I call you — soul sisters? Twin souls? Two matching halves of one soul? I will call you My oneness of love, perfected in what is called California and in what is called Iowa, for souls know no boundaries. California and Iowa are fictitious; love is not.

A Course in Miracles, Who Are God's Teachers?:

"A teacher of God is anyone who chooses to be one. His qualifications consist solely in this: somehow, somewhere he has made a deliberate choice in which he did not see his interests as apart from someone else's…He has entered into an agreement with God even if he does not yet believe in Him…He has become of a teacher of God."

Gloria:

So, dear God, does teacher of God mean one who teaches about You, or is it a teacher hired by You?

God:

I do not know the difference. You are hired by Me to teach others about Me, which is to say, about themselves. You are hired to ignite the light that exists in each one, every one, of My children without exception.

In fact, you, Gloria, were hired to type My words and get them out. Each reader here who is stirred by My words is teaching others with their hearts because I am established in each heart; the heart is My base, and it is from there that I work My Will.

And what is My Will but joy to each heart? And what is joy to each heart but to know that I am here, all lit, right in their very own heart, waiting for them to peer in and see Me there looking into their eyes?

And My first words of welcome are: "You are Home."

Gloria to Mother Divine:

Dear Mother Divine, whatever subject we talk about here, whatever it is, always seems to return to love.

Mother Divine:

There is no other subject. All searches are for love. All discoveries are love. All is love.

Gloria:

Murder is love?

Mother Divine:

Murder may be denial of it; the subject is, nevertheless, love, love distorted. Love is either being opened or closed.

Open love, and more flies out. Try it. The first person you see today is your assigned project of love. How many ways can you announce love to that person? How many subtle ways? How many overt? And all true, for love cannot be manufactured.

Give a single grain of love today to each you see or meet or talk to. A single grain. And who receives that love? You do. Who gave the love? They did.

Love is the only thing exchanged.

You cannot put your love on another, not really. It is an impossibility. Can God give love to anyone who is NOT Himself?

Love is a sugar bowl. It is a sweetener. And the bowl is always full. Always spilling as a matter of fact. Cannot be contained. Must sprinkle out.

There is nothing but love, or a reflection of love. So reflect love.

Later…

Gloria to God:

Dear God, Karen did not always have the love that seems to be the minimum one is entitled to. I had my father, my brother, and a second grade teacher who really loved me, or made me feel loved. Maybe Karen was loved, and it wasn't communicated to her. Karen asked me to ask You, for my benefit, why she had to do without.

God:

For Karen to be strong and to know from whence cometh love. And she did learn very well.

Gloria:

Because she is so loving, it is hard for me to accept that she did not have at least minimum love. Could she have survived with no love? And how did she learn to give so much?

God:

That was what she was here to learn. To give love. There came a point where she gave herself love, since no one else was giving it to her, and so she moved out of no love received to much love given. Something made her think, "Why don't I give that which wasn't given to me? If I can give it to myself, I can give it to others, and I can give it with no thought of return because I never had it given me in the first place." And so she gave and with no thought of return. A big heart has to shine.

And, of course, as Karen well knows, she did have My watchful love to carry her through the dark years.

Gloria to Mother Divine:

Dear Mother Divine, well, I am not Karen. Today I saw a woman who owes me $100. And I could not look at her or forgive her in my heart. She was a client, and it isn't just that she owed the money. I had bent over backwards for her.

I'm afraid I am going to keep seeing that woman until I say hello or something. And the worst thing yet, dear Mother, when I saw her, I was glad that she had gained all her weight back.

Mother Divine:

Gloria, if you yourself didn't owe money, you might not feel so strongly about that woman. And if you had kept your weight off, you might not be glad that someone else had gained her weight back also. You need to hear this, dear Gloria. Some things you need to hear.

Yes, say hello to that woman. Ask her how she is. You can do it. As you walk by, say, "Hello, Connie," even if she turns away from you. Say it every night. She has no power over you, Gloria. Consider your saying hello to her as a way to thank God for His generosity to you.
