Gloria to God:

Dear God, last night I spoke to someone, a very fine person, who is willing to volunteer her help with HEAVEN — to a degree. Her heart isn't really in HEAVEN. She doesn't love it. She doesn't really read it; she looks at it.

After we hung up, I realized that my spirits were dampened. Here's what I wonder: Whatever her skills, and they are great, can this person who doubts HEAVEN really help? Or will I feel undermined? Is it better to find someone who takes joy in HEAVEN?

God:

If you can accept this person's help without being affected, take the help. If you are going to catch her doubt, then you are undermining yourself and inviting doubt to you. Do you choose assistance or emotional involvement?

Gloria:

I don't want to be the kind of person who has to have everything perfect. I want this person's help. I don't know when to compromise or when not to. I want to stay in my truth, but what is it?

God:

You are a little like a hungry person who sees a hot pie cooling on a windowsill outside. You do not want to be a thief, but you want to eat. You want to be honest, but the pie is right there.

I know this is dilemma for you. And add the element that you would not want to hurt this person's feelings.

Gloria:

And Karen would say that my not wanting to hurt someone's feelings is a form of my control, and that it is my very control issues that allow me to be disheartened! If I didn't have them, I would be neutral and unaffected.

I should just talk honestly to this person and see what happens to the heart level on both sides.

God:

Always.

Gloria:

Dear God, I have to tell You something. The past few days I have a had a wayward thought or two like: "What if HEAVEN doesn't take off? What if no one wants to read it? If there's going to be a nuclear war, what is the point of doing all this?" I pushed these doubts way, but then, look, someone comes to me with her doubt showing. My doubt manifested in someone else and was brought right to my face!

God:

You are learning. There are no accidents. You called this person to you so you can look at your own doubtings, and so that you can relieve her doubts by releasing your own.

Gloria:

By the same token, my positive thoughts have brought Karen, Jon, Julie, Barbara, Sandra, Nancy, Diane and so on!

God:

Another reason why you want your attention fully on Me. You know that in My Kingdom, there is no doubt. Trust undoes doubt. Doubt increases doubt.

Gloria:

How is faith different from trust?

God:

Remember these are words. Let's say trust is an awareness. Perhaps trust arises from a wariness.

I would say that faith is a loving trust. Deeper trust is faith. Faith comes from trust. Faith is bigger, all encompassing. With faith, your whole heart is there.

Trust in God is knowing the truth of God, yet trust carries a slight distance with it. Faith is right there. Faith is a happy heart full of God.

Gloria:

What an instrument of You Jon is, God. Yesterday he told me he feels that A Course in Miracles in HEAVEN breaks the flow, isn't actually a love letter from You etc. He also mentioned that we would need permission from the publisher to include passages.

Last night I looked up A Course in Miracles on the web and found that their permission is definitely needed, the word count is limited, page numbers and much exact detail must be included in the request, and the whole thing approved of way ahead of time. It would be a huge undertaking.

So Jon was on to something and got me to pay attention to it.

God:

All the people who come to you, come to you to help you, including those that do not seem positive to you. They corral you into learning and ease, and therefore hasten you to Me.

Gloria:

I am also aware that, as HEAVEN reaches more people, I especially need to abridge my questions and comments.

God:

But not too much.

Gloria:

Dear God, will You inspire, uplift, and restore me this morning?

God:

Straighten out your eyes. Wipe away the gloom. The rain deluges the earth these few days, and yet you hear the singing of a lone bird.

A bird does not think, "Oh, it's raining again. When is it going to stop?"

A bird does not think, "Did I do this right or wrong? What oh what should I do now and how?"

A bird merely goes from one branch to another, sings its song, feeds its young, and inspires hearts such as yours.

What you do is not so important as you think. The realization of HEAVEN is inevitable.

Angels carry you on their wings, as a bird carries its song.

You got this far, Gloria. Do you think you will stumble now? Can you stop the events of HEAVEN?

You do not really know how any of this is happening. You found yourself opening a bank account, getting a post office box, just as one morning you found yourself writing down My words, and you thought it was your discovery. Whose idea do you think it was? Who put the pen in your hand? And Who moves it still?

What do you listen to? The call of Heaven or a wanderer's doubts? Where do you keep your treasure — in everyone's hands or in your heart?

Where does truth lie, and Whose is it?

Look where you are going, not how you got here, or how you get where you're going. Simply look at what you are going to.

This is why it is important to think of Me. There is much to look at by the wayside, but the wayside is not your destination. I am your destination. You are coming to Me.

Think of Me, and you will have My strength. Think of Me, and you will know My love unabashed. Think of Me, and you will have Me. Your thinking of Me helps Me succor the world. Your thoughts of Me fasten Me to the world. Your thoughts hold Me as I hold you.

Gloria:

I know HEAVEN is your gift to me.

God:

It is one of My gifts to you. You have been reading about trust in A Course in Miracles and how to develop it. Place your bead of trust in My hand, and I will multiply it. A little trust goes far with Me. Trust is truth, dear Gloria.

Gloria:

It is hard for me to let A Course in Miracles go.

God:

You are not letting it go. Continue to read it and revel in it. It is a strong connector to Christ and Me. Love Christ's words as you love Mine.

Gloria to Mother Divine:

Dear Mother Divine, I keep learning so much. How much can a person learn?

Mother Divine:

All there is to know.

Gloria:

Karen has said that there is always more of past programming to release. Is releasing then the same as learning?

Mother Divine:

Room has to be made. Unlearning is learning.

Gloria:

If we didn't have to unlearn, would we then have to learn?

Mother Divine:

You would be clear, and you would know everything of God. Earth is that place where you unlearn, and therefore learn. It is a school for wayward hearts. It is the learning place. You are all students, and you all pass. You all surpass. There is no grading system. You all find the right door, open it, and then you are out of earth school and into another realm of teaching/learning until you see out from the center of God's heart as easily as the bird sings.
