Oneness and Words
Gloria to God:
Dear God, My Friend, Giver of Kindness, Sweetness, Wisdom, Light and Life, this is one of those occasions when I think You are writing my question, not I.
God:
And there isn't even a question. It is the two of us falling, one into the other. We become a sense of each other. You also have the sense that all the eager hearts in the world are here as well. As the two of us become One, the sense of Oneness of all comes to the front. Writer, reader, speaker, all the same. That is Oneness.
There is no other. That doesn't mean what it used to mean to you. Yesterday it meant to you that there was you and I and nobody else, and We were the content of the universe. This morning it means that you are everyone rolled into one.
Gloria:
And that includes you, dear Father?
God:
Yes, you don't want to leave Me out.
Right now you sense all hearts are joined. Now, as soon as you sensed that — as soon as you experienced you were everyone else and they were you, that all the hearts on earth and souls in Heaven were joined in you and you in them — as soon as that happened, you let Me slip away, as though there were two sides: everyone and everything on one side, and I across from you on the other.
Picture in your mind that you, meaning everyone, step over to Me. Hearts, entwined like a necklace of pearls, circle Me, and now I am within the heartspace of all. Can you picture this?
Gloria:
Almost.
God:
Mentally dance around Me. Faster. The ring of dancers and the center essence of me become a filled-in circle. There is no center separate from the rest. There is no separation. There is only Oneness.
The Creator and the created become one mass of golden light.
Whose heart beats? Yours, or Mine? Or Jon's and Sandra's? Or those whose names you do not know?
There is one heartbeat. There is one sense. There is sense of the Oneness that is.
My cloak covers all. Where do you begin, and where do I? Where do you and I as One begin? You and I are We, and there is no longer you and I but We, and then We as I.
The word "who" becomes inapplicable. Last time I told you that the answer to "who" is you. That remains true. Only now the answer "you" includes the Oneness of Me.
When you ask "who", you ask for separation. That's what words do; they separate one from another. They perpetuate the idea that separation is truth and Oneness is image when separation is not possible.
For whom does the bell toll? Who is the ringer of the bell, and who is the bell itself? One exists not without the other. They exist as One.
Who thinks? Who hears the thought? Whose is the thought, and what is it that is thought?
Who moves what, and what is the motion?
What a leap of faith it takes to believe in illusion! Take that same leap and believe in truth. There is no leap at all! There is no distance!
Am I your Beloved or are you Mine? And can you tell Me now what is the difference, and why you would want there to be one? Love manifested, but there is One Love. There is nothing but Oneness. One light lights all. The lit, the lighter, the light are One.
The words "you" and "I" and "he" and "she" drop from the vocabulary.
If words must exist, let there be one. If there must be one word, let it be God. God spoke God to God this morning.
All the words in the world are names for Oneness, and all the words in the world cannot in truth change that Oneness.
God meets His own Godness. There is nothing but Godliness. Love streams from God. The pool of love that streams is God's love. No less.
Who created the waters? Who drinks it, and who is the water?
There is one feast, and it is the Feast of God.
God's cup runneth over.
Know the depth and breadth and heighth of My love because it is yours. The giver, the receiver, and the gift are the same. We are the same.
This is enough for one morning. Don't try to contain it any more than you would the Love that spoke it. Let these words today be butterflies that appear around you every now and then and fly away and return and alight on you in their own time.
