Dear Friends,

To me it is a miracle that this saint from Nepal subscribes to Heavenletters with great devotion and writes to us. I can't bring myself to ask C.M. Yogi to join a message board, so I am posting his email that arrived this morning. Through this man who selflessly started an ashram to help and educate all the youth in Nepal, and especially the street children, I have a glimpse of what it means to serve God.

hope you are fine... it's a long time now we have not heard anything from you, so I thought to knock on the door again to say Namaste to you.

we are reading the Heavenletters everyday with a great interest and Shraddha, it's a great source of Bhakti for me.

recently we had a good festival of Krishna Janmastami ( incarnation day of lord Krishna ) on last Aug. 27th, the children did a very good program as always - drama, dance, songs, prayers, bhajans... everything was excellent...

i had a very good program yesterday as i was invited to give a talk to the senior students of M. Phil. on the topic of " The Upanishads : and it's teaching for the modern world " . i really enjoyed meeting the young educationists who were quite enthusiastic to know the real message of Upanishads and it's implementation in modern education system.
tomorrow there is another great festival called Teeja, especially it's the festival for the women, they wroship Lord Shiva and pray for the betterment of their husbands, and it's a great reunion or social get together of the women when they all sing & dance together.

a good news... the Maoist have announced for cease fire for 3 months, the doors are opened for peace dialogue again, let's
pray and hope for GOOD.

rest is fine here, all the HVP schools are fine, the movements of YSP and SSA are also going on . in fact, God is with us showing the light of HOPE even in terrible DARKNESS also.
