Again I applaud you, Joe! And please don't take this as if I am some
teacher or above you in knowledge. I am neither, but I can appreciate
success!

I can remember the early days when we first met and your troubles, if you
want to call them that... perhaps I should call them mountains that you had
to climb! L O L! I can see how far you have traveled, and having traveled a
similar road, I can appreciate your journey. I am still on mine as you are
on yours!

If I could share but one thing with you, it would be a suggestion that you
remember that conscious is NOT a thing. It is an action like strength,
power, hate or love... all abstract nouns... all things you cannot touch but
can only see the result of. This motion... this action that we are all a
part of can be labeled anything we want, as long as it has meaning to us, at
whatever point we happen to be.

I experience people labeling this thing we call consciousness as God, All
That Is, The One Beingness, and many other names. Now in my opinion, as I
see it, all of those labels are okay as they communicate to the person
themselves, the meaningfulness of the concept to themselves. The only thing
I choose not to accept is the concept that there is something of a higher
order than I, when in fact we all are a part of consciousness, and as such
are not higher or lower than any other part. We're just different, engaged
in different explorations in different ways.

Again Joe, my best to you. Tomorrow night I will indeed toast a fine
bourbon in your honor.
