If I could be whatever I want
Whenever I want it
What would I Be?

Mayhap I would be a falcon
With wings spread as far as the eye could see
Perchance a butterfly
So I may land on the shoulder of my beloved

Mayhap I would be a wish
And know I am the mother of creation
Perchance a word
So I could be her son

All this I would be and more...

Mayhap I would be rich in the wealth of coinage yet poor in the awareness of spirit
Awakening unto, "less is more"
Perchance the other way around
That I may remember mySelf as abundance's open door

Mayhap I would be a man in need
And know what it is to want
Perchance an angel so filled and complete
That I just joyfully give and give and give

All this I would be and one more...

If I could be whatever I want
Whenever I want it
I would be you
Living the truth of joy and peace
I would be me
In remembrance of our union as we
I would be love
Knowing that such is us
