God said:

All the things you care about, do you really? You get swept up in so many things. Take a breath and consider what you deeply and truly care about. You are too divine to be swept up.

Frankly, if you are involved in anything that is not from love, you have been swept up and blown a million miles away from yourself.

When you feel vengeful or victimized, regardless of who did what, you are the perpetrator. You attack yourself with your feelings and your thoughts. You pound yourself. The way a certain note sung can break crystal glass, so do your thoughts and feelings impact you and your surroundings.
Who would keep planting grenades to go off in their heart and set them again and again, and often in the same exact place unless he wanted to perpetuate them for some reason or no reason known to himself?

If there is a cycle, then it is you who must end it.

And if you spend your life trying to get your mind off what truly matters to you, if you run to this store and that store, if you cover yourself with dashing activity so that you do not have to consider what matters to you, then you are living according to what does not matter to you.

What matters to you, beloveds?

Are you sure that what you are pursuing is happiness? Are you sure you are not running away from it, or avoiding it, as if surrender to your happiness would cost you your life? Surrender will take you away from distraction. I would distract you from distraction. I would suggest that rather than pursuing happiness that you follow it instead. Your happiness lies in your heart. Follow your heart. Hang on to it. What is your heart trying to tell you? Put your ear to your heart. Within the chambers of your heart reverberates your truth. I put it there, and truth never leaves. Truth does not waver. The truth in your heart ever beats strong.

Be gracious to your heart. Consider it a great seer who has come to you from a vast and faraway land. You will have to learn this seer's language. Spend time with your heart, and you will learn to understand and to speak that which is beyond the speech of man. You will learn to live love with every breath.

You will toss many of your thoughts in the wastebasket. You will not keep any that rub your heart raw. Your heart is very powerful. Hearts are powerful. They have no boundaries of their own, beloveds. They are boundless. They are not to be limited according to your thoughts and untoward feelings nor from the consciousness of the world. Your heart will raise the timbre of the world by its very sweetness.

You sweep your kitchen floor. Now sweep your heart. Let it be a metal detector that detects the gold mine of itself. Let it find lost treasures, and then they are no longer lost.

Your life on Earth is a treasure. Hold it dear. There are many nuggets of love in your heart. They come from the depths, and yet they are right near the surface. Reach into your heart, and open it. Open it wide.
Let not life swallow you up. Let the love and vitality of your heart flourish. Let love take the limelight. Let your colors be known by the flag of your heart. What land do you claim? What land are you from?
