presence of God
The Far Reaches of Your Life
When I say that each one of you on Earth is indispensable, you find that hard to believe. But it is true. Each of you fills a place in the weave of the world. I did put you where you are. It was not a flip of the coin. I chose you to do something for Me. You were needed in the spot you are. And now you can make something of it. You can just fill space or you can enliven the space you fill. The point is that I picked you for something important that only you can fulfill.
Think like God
I suggested before that you wake in the morning and say to yourself: "Good morning, O Lord, I am in Thy Presence."
Now I would like to add another thought. I would like you to add: "Good morning, O Lord, I am in Thy service."
As you awaken, will you think of both thoughts now? Carrying these thoughts is a good way to greet Me and your day. These thoughts are a blessing to carry with you.
I know you very much want to be in My Presence and in good service to Me.
I hear your answer: "Happily, God. Now, tell me please, how do I best be in Your service?"
God's Presence, God's Light
It is a common thing, My presence in your life. Your discovery of Me in your life is rarely, if ever, a great illumination. I am the Great Illuminator, but your discovery of My light, your dawning awareness of it is not earthshaking. You notice Me more as an afterthought. Your recognition is more, "Oh, so that's You." Not, "I am illuminated! I am changed! I am catapulted into Heaven. Hallelujah! I appear before God. I am partaking of a remarkable event. Amazement is mine!"
You appear before God in your own clothes.
Our Immortal Love
You roam in life. It is like you flick the remote control. You glance at this, and you glance at that. At some point, you make a choice, at least for a while.
Roaming isn’t quite the same as wandering. In roaming, you may not know what you are going to alight on, nor when, yet your roaming is purposeful. You are looking for something. In wandering, you are more aimless, less purposeful, more vague, less clear. You both roam and wander, beloveds. It is all right. You will find your way, or your way will find you.
