Godlight
Tina to God:
Dear God, HEAVEN is having its way with me! It is encouraging me through a challenging piece of my evolution. November 14's HEAVEN was so perfect for me. Thank you, God.
I imagined that You were talking directly to me in what You said to Gloria about learning to trust changes. If she can trust God to send love to her on the computer instead of in her special room, I guess I can learn to trust that love will find a new way to me as well.
Joy is the gift from HEAVEN, again and again. How refreshing it is to feel it even before I know why.
Does neutral mean having one's logical, questioning mind standing on the sidelines, engrossed in each play of the game for the pure enjoyment of the athletic wonders to behold at each turn; no thoughts toward the existence of teams or scoring?
God to Tina:
Yes. But engrossed is not quite the right word because that suggests involvement. More like idly observing. Not even having to watch. Glancing.
Yes, let love come to you from where it comes. It can come from anywhere. But first you must let your former husband go. Give him My silent love, and put your attention elsewhere. Love will come to you from where you do not expect. Expecting, hoping, wanting are all control, dear Tina. You are letting control go now so that your world can open up. I am your safety net. Your former husband is a diversion. Let him go to his own destiny so you can go to yours.
Gloria:
Dear God, Tina has expressed frustration with her computer, its losing important things on her. I know that frustration well. Right now, the computer insists on skipping lines between paragraphs where I don't want it to, and I am irritated beyond belief. I go to the supposed Help, and it never knows what I'm talking about and uses words that I have no idea what they mean in the context of the computer. It's like dealing with an insufferable person who can't listen to a word I say!
God:
You want control. And, at least, you ought to be able to control where lines are skipped and where they are not. At least, you ought to be able to control a computer!
You feel just like the child who can't build his blocks right.
Your computer gives you a good example of what happens when you try to control. It shows you that you cannot. Control always results in frustration because it believes you are separate from that which you attempt to control. You make an opponent of the computer, as if it were out to get you, and it does get the better of you, for the computer is always neutral.
Gloria:
I want to go back to writing by pen where nothing but myself can get in the way.
God:
It is only yourself who ever gets in the way.
You got out of the way just now. You let go of the computer, ready to leave it, and then I led your hand to the right place, and now paragraphs are going the way you want. The power of release, Gloria. It is far stronger than the power of control. Release has power.
It is not that you were going along with the computer. You were not trying to please it. You had realization that you weren't getting anywhere with it and were willing to step out of the frustration. It's not that you conceded defeat, but you were not going to fight it, that's all.
Gloria:
I once did a resume for a wonderful man who was a computer programmer. He had the insight that whenever there was a bug in the program he was working on, the bug was in him. When he got himself right, then the bug wasn't there. I don't quite remember how he got himself right, but I know he stopped working on the program for a while.
God:
You got yourself right just now by getting out of the way. You moved over from your strong position which was: "Computer, you do what I want, or else!" You released your hold. Release is how you get out of the way. Release allows a shift to take place.
Release is not defeat. But it is getting out of the fray. Laugh at your computer, dear one, when it does only what it knows to do. It is not being obstinate. You are.
Gloria:
I suppose holding on is seeing something only one way.
God:
Very good. And sometimes it is not seeing it only one way, but wanting to see it only one way. Your way.
Holding on is selfish.
Letting go is neither selfish nor unselfish.
Release is not biased.
Gloria:
In a way, isn't release also control?
God:
There is a difference between decision and control. Making a decision is a certain shift in thinking. It charters a direction.
Gloria:
I have kind of thought that decisions make themselves. It is not deciding, but rather noticing what the decision is.
God:
You can decide to invite joy into your life, or notice that that is what you want. You can decide to choose freedom, which you want. A decision isn't an order. It is not a law. It is a direction chosen. And that is enough.
You never decided: "By golly, I will write God's words and make a newsletter of them."
You decided, or noticed, that you wanted to be more with Me and follow My Will. That was your decision. Call it a leaning. That was your leaning, to come to Me. It was an irresistible leaning.
When you lean in a direction, you go that way. It is automatic.
It is very easy. It is easier to go with Me than to not. Going with Me is natural. It takes tremendous resistance not to go with Me. It takes a lot of kicking your feet not to. Going with Me is going with the wind. It is letting yourself be lifted up. It is making yourself light.
Be a kite. A kite kind of goes its way, but its way is higher and higher. You could say its way is Mine. It does not resist, and it doesn't look back, and it doesn't look down. It comes to me in a weaving pattern. Not a straight line. It lets Me decide how fast, and it rises sometimes faster and sometimes slower, but it is ever-rising until it is out of sight of earth.
I am out of physical sight but not out of reach.
The sense organ of the heart touches Me.
The ears can hear My words, or is it the heart that hears?
We could say that it is My love that hears itself.
The direction of the heart is towards Me. All hearts.
They may not know that.
But they come to know that.
Coming to me is coming to know what is.
I AM what is.
I AM the sun in your heart.
I AM what your heart radiates.
There is no limit as to how far the Godlight in you can shine.
Let it go. Release it.
It will light the world.
It will light the stars!
It will light Heaven.
In fact, there is One Light.
It burns in you.
There is a flame of light in you so bright that it sears through time and space and all details of existence, and reaches Heaven.
It is so bright, this flame, that it lifts you.
This flame is also called love, and it burns bright and lights your way to Heaven all the way from earth.
