You have perhaps been in the pattern of being selfish. It doesn't matter. Today you can be unselfish. It isn't really unselfish that you have to be, for the opposite of selfish isn't really unselfish. The opposite of selfish is generous.

Be generous. Come from a place of strength where it is easy for you to be generous.

Remember often what you are here on Earth for. You must know by now that you are not here for your body. You are not here for possessions. You are not here for wrangling. You are not here to compete. You are not here to win arguments. You are not here to get A's in tests any more than you are here to flunk tests. You are not here to be on best behavior or worst behavior.

You are simply here for your joy and for the joy of others, which is another way of saying that you are here for Me. I am at the top of your list. In fact, there is no list. I am the Whole Story.

Every person on Earth has his own agenda. He has his own way of viewing the world. In effect, each person lives in his own world, and yet, still, each person is everyone. You are everyone and everyone is you. Everyone shares the same spot.

If you were to time travel, or someone were to time travel to you, you would still be two human beings, and you would recognize each other. Even if you did not speak the same language, you would communicate, one heart to another. Sometimes you communicate better without words.

Often, what is easiest is best. Yet not always.

It is easier to reach for the candy than it is to cook a meal. It is easier to stay sitting in a chair than it is to get up. And so on.

I would like you to take life easy, yet I am not saying that making life easy has to mean taking the line of least resistance. Easy and line of least resistance are not always the same. Sometimes taking the line of least resistance creates more snags than it erases.

Beloveds, will you choose happiness today and in so doing extend your happiness? Your happiness goes so far as to reach Me. It overjoys Me, your happiness. It makes a wide grin on My face, as it were.

I would you to be happy. I would you to take joy in life in general and yours in particular.
