The mind thinks that love is an investment. The mind thinks that love is something to bet on or give up on. The mind, even unaware that love is a flowing river, nevertheless, dams it up. It obstructs love. Love is meant to go wherever it goes, and it is supposed to go everywhere. The mind is ignorant of this truth. The erring mind does not believe in the heart.
