Dream Big
Gloria to God:
Dear Father in Heaven and on earth, what would You like to say to us this morning?
God:
Dream big. Go for the brass ring, for life follows your dreams. Let your heart dream, for the mind cannot. The mind is too cautious. The heart is closer to My Will.
Gloria:
Dear God, how do we dream and not expect?
God:
The heart would not control, demand, insist. It is the mind that does that.
We can say that your dreams, your deep desires, set your vibratory rate.
Do you desire all of Heaven or a little bit?
I know My children are grateful for even a corner. I say: Ask for it all and run to meet it. Enjoy the run.
Dreaming and being attached to outcome are not the same.
Dreaming is finding out what your heart desires.
Dream that you are a clear messenger for Me.
Dream that you never let Me out of your sight.
Dream that earth be Heaven.
To receive what you want without control is easy. Control is hard.
Big dreams are unselfish.
The queen in Snow White desired to be the fairest of all. Pretty selfish.
Search for the Fountain of Youth? — short-sighted.
The ego is selfish and small.
Unselfish and big are closer to My heart.
What is the purpose of your desire? If it is to make you bigger, look deeper within.
Outside desires are often only wishes.
A wish is a small dream.
Desire that you give peace, you, that you give love, you, that you vibrate happiness, you.
This may seem like a contradiction, but when you ask for peace on earth, it may be an idle dream far away from you rather than big. Close to you may be true desire. Far away from you may be diluted. Desire world peace, and make your own.
If you desire to marry, ask yourself your purpose.
You desire wealth? What is your purpose?
You desire health for yourself and others — for what purpose?
You desire a dishwasher — what will you dream in the extra time it affords?
Be sure you know that I do not ask you to stop dreaming your dreams or desiring your desires, even if they seem small.
You put your toe in the water before you jump in.
I am saying to dream big.
The world may have taught you to turn away from what your heart wants.
Now, here is an important point. Ask your questions of yourself, and not others. Ask yourself your questions of intent and purpose. Ask it not of others.
Do not delve into others' dreams because, in so doing, you may take their dreams apart. Do not pry into others' motives, only your own.
When you desire something unselfish in order to be unselfish, that is selfish.
Gloria:
Dear God, if someone desires to be able to share his candy, let's say, that's not selfish, is it?
God:
If you desire to share candy, ask yourself why you wish to? Is it to share with a full heart, or is it to increase your picture of yourself?
Gloria:
Isn't it a worthy desire to be unselfish?
God:
Perhaps too small. When the desire is from your heart and not the mind, it will be a true desire and automatically fulfill itself.
True selfish does more good than untrue altruism.
Gloria:
Dear God, I have heard it is good to tithe, even if you don't want to. I read somewhere once that in Biblical times, the rich people tithed 10%, and the poor had to tithe 20% because they needed to more.
God:
Desire to want to then.
To tithe so that wealth is given to you may be too small a desire.
When you know you are wealthy, it is easier to give. When you know you are loved, it is easier to give love.
When you have health, you radiate it.
Do not disregard desires even though they may be self-centered. Understanding your self-gratifying desires may bring you closer to your big ones.
Gloria:
I get uncomfortable when I hear selfish and unselfish.
God:
Why desire comfortable? What makes comfort so desirable? Think beyond comfort.
Desire that you accept who you are.
Desire that you are My child, and I, your father, and that you dream You Father's dream.
Dream that you collect your heritage.
Beyond desiring that you get an A on a test, for example, desire that you learn. Desire that you know something.
Desire purpose.
Desire to come from greatness.
Desire to move mountains.
Desire not to be the first anything, not even the first to discover a cure. Desire to discover a cure.
Desire not fame. Desire to do greatness.
Dream great dreams.
Dream simple.
Gloria:
Dear God, what is the difference between desiring and dreaming?
God:
We can say that dreaming is a way to discover your desires.
Gloria:
Would it be correct to say that our true desire is to know You and share You?
God:
Yes. And that is how you find joy and give it. When you have joy, you can only give it! Desire great joy and dream what will bring it to you.
You are all travelers, and you all find your way.
Write your own map. Live your own dreams. Fill your life with joy, and others will be joyous.
There really is no joy in eating all the candy yourself. Enjoy another's joy. The other is also you.
Look to the stars, not a streetlight.
Look to the Moon and the Sun.
Look to My light that shines in you.
Look to the Heavens.
Look for My Will.
Look for My joy, and take it as your own.
Think beyond boundaries, for you are a traveler rather than sojourner.
In Heaven, you will be a sojourner.
Now you find your way. A way is always found. There is always a way. Dream your way to Me, and fulfill your destiny.
