Database and Spirituality

Gloria to God:

Dear God, I want to report that Johanna set up a beautiful database in color, and now I have to fill it in, and then we're in business!

God:

Steps of progress take many forms.

Gloria:

Databases and Godwriting are two things that are hard for me to conceive of in the same breath. I mean, Heavenletters and database — like what does a database have to do with spirituality!

God:

Johanna's database is a record of spiritual data. Heavenletters are a record of My thoughts. You could say, "Why command God's thoughts to paper? Words on paper are insignificant next to the power of God's thoughts."

You could ask, "What does a daisy-chain bracelet have to do with love?"

And I say, the tying of the daisy-chain is love as much as any love.

Johanna's database is as much My love as the abundance of healing My words give you.

You, Gloria, are not one who likes record-keeping at all. To you, records are insignificant next to what is being kept a record of.

You would like to trip the light fantastic and never touch the ground, but touch the ground you must. Record-keep, you must. Buy paper towels, you must. Spend time with Me, you must.

You, Gloria, would like to escape the earth ways altogether, but I set you on earth to live an earth life, so there you reside. Let your heart be there too.

I am a High Spirit also Who loves the spiritual matters of the universe and Heaven, and I also have put everything together into a computer called nature, and, there, an automatic reconciliation between love and details is made.

It is hard for you to reconcile the tawdry physical with the sweet spiritual. They may seem to be on opposite sides to you, dear Gloria, but they are views of the same article.

Consider every entry you put into Johanna's database as a light you turn on. It is a tactile thing, a database.

Consider that Johanna installed a light switch, and now you put in the tiny Christmas lights, and it seems menial to you. But wait until everything is in place, and the whole thing lights up!

Consider the database a home for every soul you know who seeks Me.

Consider that I like to look at that list every once in a while and say, Hmmmmmm.

Consider that each entry makes an indelible mark in Heaven, and, so to speak, reserves a seat for the individual concerned.

Consider your data entry as reserving pews in Heaven for these souls.

Consider you light up Heaven with the lights of data you enter.

Consider the data a reflector that brightens the lights of Heaven.

Gloria, look at everything you do as not minor, not insignificant, butas mighty service to Me and the world.

Each entry, each thing you do, consider a tickle in My heart.

Consider each key you press as a reward to Me.

Consider each entry, as a smile for Me.

Now, tell me, how do you feel about the process of record-keeping?

Gloria:

Much better!

God:

When you pick up a piece of paper off the street, for Whom do you do it? To Whom do you give love? When you dust, Whom is it for? For Whom is washing dishes an offering?

Every act, word, thought is an offering to Me, just as every raindrop from Heaven is an offering to you.

How mutual We are. How interactive. How combined. How entwined. How much We are two sides of one coin, and the coin is named Love.

Mother Divine:

God exists in a microscope as well as in a telescope.

You look through one and the other, and what do you see but your Heavenly Father?

God receives the impulses of data you send to Him as well as the impulses from an Ask God Workshop.

As God receives equally from the King and the serf, so He receives equally an entry of data or a rose of inspiration.

Human life is lived in details.

Be not attached to Godwriting or dis-attached to data entry, and then all you do will be a single cup of wine for God.

"What is this person's email address?" and "What do I do to bring more people closer to God's goodness?" will be the same honoring lift of a glass and toast to God. To God, they are the same.

Does God exist in an atom as well as in the stars? Does He exist in your database as well as in your greatest revelation?

All is from God to God. One stroke. All is divine. Divine means of God.

Data entry is divine. Art is divine. Carving a toothpick is divine.

Whatever you do, you are pasting a new star in Heaven.
