Christ Healed the Mind

Gloria to God:

Dear God, sometimes when someone tells me something true, I don't want to hear it.

God:

That is how it is with your daughter. And that is how it is for everyone. If all were ready for truth, then Heaven would be fully on earth this instant.

Gloria:

And, yet, everyone's truth is not the same.

God:

Truth is the same.

Gloria:

What is true for one isn't necessarily true for another, is it, God?

God:

Truth is truth. Perception varies. Truth is adamantine.

Gloria:

Is timing a real thing then?

God:

Time is illusion. Within that illusion is timing. Or it could be called readiness. But why wait to be ready? For what truth do you have to prepare?

Gloria:

I suppose the truth I'm talking about now is temporary truth, like recognizing weakness within myself that I would rather not look at.

God:

Like what?

Gloria:

Like fear of negativity, for example.

God:

Fear is a temporary thing that does not belong to you. It is fantasy. Fear is an alarm of fantasy.

Gloria:

Karen would say to laugh at fear.

God:

And Karen would be right.

Gloria:

And when I can't laugh at it, what do I do?

God:

Ask Me to remove it from you. And I will. Negativity is a cluster of energy, as positivity is a cluster of energy. Ask Me to remove one and supply you with the other. Do not be afraid of fear, Gloria. It is but a shadow.

Gloria:

Is it so simple, dear God? To ask You to remove and supply?

God:

It is that simple.

Gloria:

Can it really be so simple?

God:

Yes.

Gloria:

Lauren made a beautiful point about negativity. It happens to be one that is in A Course in Miracles, but Lauren doesn't read that, so it is her insight. She said that what looks like negative to her at the time often turns out to be positive, and the positive may turn out to be negative. She thought that negativity may be a judgment.

God:

You give the negativity life when you judge it. A cloud is just a cloud. A cloud passes. Let it pass.

Good and bad are judgments.

Life is. You are. I am. What is there to judge?

Gloria:

We judge sickness as bad. A Course in Miracles says that sickness is an illusion.

God:

It is a belief in error. It is a trick of the mind. Illness is like a collection of nothing, of emotions and imagined sins, of guilt rather than innocence. Collected untruths, stored in the body.

Christ healed illness in an instant. His mind was so focused on Me, that he erased error from the mind of another in an instant. The illness disappeared because the bearer of it saw Christ's truth and no longer perceived a need for illness.

Gloria:

Sometimes I feel my life is in two parts, dear God. The sweet time I spend with you here. Although much of the sweetness carries over, a lot of the time I forget about You altogether. I'm wrapped up in something, and You don't even occur to me.

God:

Let's put in this way. You do not always have to think of Me to be connected to Me. You do not have to think of Me every moment. Let My thoughts go through you rather than your bringing your thoughts around to Me.

Consider Me a coat you put on. You put Me on in the morning, even though I covered you all night. You do not have to consciously think of this Great Coat every moment because you know I am there enveloping you. You are glad and grateful you have this Coat to keep you warm.

If you should feel cold, then is a good time to remember your Coat and pull it closer to you.

To think of Me does not mean to ignore all else.

When a mother takes care of her children, she is tending to Me. When you do office work, you are working for Me. When you watch a movie, I am enjoying it with you.

Life is One. I am not an assignment that you must remember to do. I am not obligation. I am joy.

You wear the Great Coat of Me always. Button it up and pull it closer to you as necessary, as reminded.

All is well.

Gloria:

Dear Mother Divine, God is so generous and freeing.

Mother Divine:

Yes, He is. He is a gift-giver. He is never a punisher or a taskmaster. He is a waver of blessings. He waves a wand of love. He always asks, "What can I do to benefit My children?" He does not make conditions. He does not say, "I will love you when you are good." He sees you are good because He ever sees truth because He is truth and you are His.

He flows past the flaws.

He stirs the universe with a wooden spoon. He stirs hearts. He stirs in a clockwise motion, and worlds spin, and hearts spin. Like little Sambo, He turns the tiger into butter, and All is One melted heart blended with All.

God is a servant at your side. He is a waiter who waits for your request. First He sets the table. He fills your water glasses. He waits patiently by your side. He fills your order.

If you drop your spoon, he picks it up. If you want more soup, He gives it to you. If you order dessert, He will bring it to you.

He has everything in stock for you.

When you are full, He presents no bill.

Entry into His restaurant is enough. That you have appetite is enough. That it is His pleasure to serve you is enough.

And He asks only, "What else may I do for you?"
