Diane to God:

Dear God, I am going to be leading our church service a week from this Sunday. I took my title directly from You — Only Good Can Happen. I am having such fun thinking and writing this.

Much of my inspiration and direct quotes are from You in Heavenletters. My question is how do I tell Unitarian/Universalists, an intellectual bunch, about You and Gloria and Heaven? Help!

In Love — from one of your biggest fans.

God to Diane:

You are doing it just right, Diane. You are having fun thinking and writing what you are going to say. That is the key.

Even the most intellectual people are reached through the heart. The intellect doesn't reach them really. Their heart is pierced, and then their intellect steps in with reasons why their heart can accept what has already entered it.

You and your story melt all hearts. That's what you do for Heavenreaders. That is what you will do for the people in your church.

Do not think that intellect is somehow superior to heart. Or wiser, or more intelligent, or on higher ground. Or that those who are loyal to intellect are taller than you.

No, truth is in the heart.

The intellect only tries to explain heart. But heart is IT.

Give your church service. Don't concern yourself with others' reaction to it. Speak your truth with love, which you ever do, and you will do famously. You will touch many hearts.

Ministers all over the land say, "God said…" or "God says…" You do the same. I like to be quoted.

If you were quoting from the Bible, how would you do it? You would do it just in passing. Attention would be on the meaning of My message. You can say : "I'm quoting God's words from a book-in-progress called HEAVEN, Love Letters from God". There is no need to say more or explain.

With due respect to Gloria, there is no need to bring in her name. What matters who typed it? What is there to say about Gloria beyond that she takes dictation from me and is devoted?

Later people will ask you questions. Let them ask you questions, and then you can tell them more about Heavenletters.

It matters not so much what words are used as it is the heart that says them. Words from Me are good because truth has a high vibration. Words from you are good because you also vibrate truth. Your talk will help others vibrate high. You breathe some light on them and clean their hearts. You rub their hearts clean. Whether they know it or not, your audience will have their hearts cleaned. They will be different people who leave the church as those who entered. You will feel a difference. You will also leave the church with more light.

Diane, I know whom I am sending to tell about Me in your church. You are going to do great things for Me, and therefore for My children. We cannot be separated, but concern yourself with Me and not the reactions of My children.

Dear Diane, only good can happen.

Gloria to God:

Dear God, I know you have told us not to compare, yet I wonder if comparing isn't sometimes worthwhile? I have had flu symptoms, and this feeling ill has made me realize how good I usually feel! Even during this purifying, I compare how much better I feel today than I did the other day and so on. Comparing seems to make me appreciate.

God:

Yes. Yet even this comparing sets one day against another. It imposes a distance and a separation. Now this is not to be taken so seriously that you try to force yourself not to compare. As comparing goes, what you are talking about, rates high. Now, here, look at this, you are even getting Me to compare one kind of comparison with another!

When someone compares another race to himself, for instance, he also appreciates where he is, and, unfortunately, feels superior or, if he has bought into certain premises, equally unfortunately, inferior. Comparing your car or your house to another does the same.

When you can, it is good to appreciate everything.

An artist sees beauty everywhere.

In a back alley full of garbage cans, he can see beauty.

The day will come when you receive each moment as it is. The scene of the moment may change, but not you. When you are in awareness of totality with Me, nothing can be more or less.

When you are in pure love, you are in pure love. What goes on around you doesn't have the influence. You see it, but it is like a scene from a passing train. You are the same. You are not changed.

You are as strong as a mountain and as light as air. You are the oak tree and the willow.

Now you notice that language is a science of comparison. It catches and identifies flavors of existence.

Gloria:

It seems to me, dear God, that, so long as we are on earth and have language, we will then make comparisons.

God:

There is a difference in making a comparison and seeing what is. Do you catch that? The difference is in judgment.

You will see colors. You will see the difference between green and blue. You can still have favorites. But you do not say that one color is more valuable than another. You simply make your choice.

And remember, dear Gloria, We are not talking about biting your tongue. We are talking about where you are. Be where you are. At the same time, move over closer to Me.

We will talk more of this tomorrow.

Gloria to Heavenreaders:

Karen sent a Valentine to God c/o Heavenletters. The card is a big heart. On one side, there is a cross-eyed frog sitting on a lily pad. He can't go forward. He says, "Make Me Hoppy Again…"

On the other side, there are lots of hearts and stickers, and the message:

To: God / Please be our Valentine. From: All of Your Heaven Readers
