Gloria to God:

Dear God, Lauren was talking yesterday to Caroline Sutherland, a medical intuitive, and Caroline told Lauren to tell me that I am away from my body, or not connected to it, something like that, I don't remember the exact words.

It felt true, dear God. It's been so hard to do anything physical and get things done. I hesitate to say, but I don't really want to be in a body. I just want You. I don't think I enjoy physical life the way other people do. It isn't like I want to die; I just want to get to the point. I wish it were possible to just ascend.

God:

Let Us say you have wanted a vacation. A vacation for you is learning. You have always liked school best, a place where ideals hold sway and man is lofty.

You have been on vacation in school in another realm, and now it is time to come back and stay. That message from Caroline through your daughter was a signal to you.

Earth is where you live, and on earth there is physical as well as spiritual. Do not desire to be "out" of something, anything. Desire more acquaintanceship with Me even on the physical. Unite your body, heart, and soul. Stay within. How else can you accomplish what I have asked?

Consider yourself a soldier who must march in step with the other soldiers. Consider your soul a soldier and your body another; you must march in tandem. A soldier doesn't go off on his own and leave the others behind when it is not his orders to do so.

You wandered off to a school where you were welcome, and now you have graduated, and must return to full-time life on earth.

There is nothing to escape, Gloria, but ideas you have.

Visualize your soul latching itself into your body. This is not imprisonment. It is unification. The soul will guide the body. They need each other for a time. If this were not so, I would have called you to leave, and I have not.

I tell your soul to alight in its body, and stay there. There is no need for you to roam. The body will serve you well once you decide you belong there.

Wanderlust is behind you.

Focus is before you.

Will you accept your body as your car to ride in?

Gloria:

Yes.

God:

And will you move your body and exercise it so it may know it is loved and welcomed as your soul's abode? Will you accept that you are a divine human on earth, no more, no less, than any other?

Picture your soul seated in your heart along with Me. Picture it content to sit there.

The body is not a limit to the soul. It is one path for it. Consider the body an entry-place, a revving up of the motor, an inception of energy ready for take-off, and whose purpose is to contain that energy where it is. Your body is a song being sung. Finish your song on earth.

I placed you lovingly on earth as My spokesman. You are a talisman of Me. I have put you on a star called Earth. Camp there.

Like money, earth life is nothing to sneeze at.

Consider it a holiday. Consider it a gift, a reward, a blue ribbon. It is not a sentence. It is not purgatory. It is a placement. A spot where you are. Learn to love it and Me at the same time. Loving earth-life does not make you love Me less, or make you less worthy to Me.

Any obstacles you find on earth, you have put them there. Remove the world "obstacle" from your vocabulary. Obstacles are obstinate, and you are a free-flowing tool of God.

Consider yourself a robe I wear. Consider your body a robe you wear. Love your earth form, or you are not different from those who choose plastic surgery and reform and reform their body. They aspire to modify while you have desired to abandon yours.

Gloria:

Oh, dear God, you make everything better! Thank You. But wouldn't You think, if I am as spiritually-minded as I am supposed to be, that I would have a body that looks ethereal rather than a short stubby one?

God:

You needed a solid body to hold you here. You have a solid stable body to keep you firm.

Love where you live.

You can't have your home contemporary and Victorian at the same time. You can't have a minimalist home and collect knick-knacks. You cannot be everything all at once.

Accept the body you have. Grow closer to it, and then it will become more ethereal as it is loved. Right now it must be ballast.

Enter your soul in your body, and your body can be lighter.

Do not oppose your body. Live with it. It is a good roommate. You be one too.

Remember, God assigned you there. It is where you are supposed to be. You are exactly in the right body. I make no mistakes. You are exactly right just as you are. You are My creation. No more disembodying it, My creation. Stay and be.
