The World of Your Heart

God said:

Do not get caught into world thought. Another way to say that is to not get caught into trying to please others so much. When you do that, you are dancing to another's tune, and not your own. Dance to your own heart.

When you don't know what your heart calls, it's because you have been listening too dedicatedly to other's hearts. You have been tuning into two radio stations at once, or three, or four.

When you are driving a car, it is not always helpful for riders to say, "No cars coming. You can go," or "Red light". Their comments interfere with your own awareness.

Retire to the mountaintop of your own heart and spend some time with it. Get acquainted with your own heart. Distress comes from not honoring your own heart enough.

Your heart has a lot to say, and it wants to be heard above the din and noise of the world.

When you consider world thought over your own heart, you disband your strength. You let yourself be overtaken. You have not surrendered exactly. You have let yourself be overridden.

Consider your own heart-thought as a tree that grows in a forest. Each tree grows itself. It may feel breezes from other trees. Other trees grow near it, and some may block the sun, but each tree develops its own growth. Each has its own search for the sun. And each puts its roots down deeper into the soil beneath it. Two actions, reaching up and digging down, and the tree grows to its own height. A tree may appear to stand still, but it is in movement. It breathes in and out as you do.

So, breathe in the world, and exhale it. The world is not your only world. There is the world of your heart. Become acquainted with it.

Decisions come from the heart and not the mind. Regardless of the justification the mind gives, decisions arise from the heart. Do not go against your heart. Find out where your heart is. Exclaim your heart. Sing it.

You may not know the exact notes as yet, and the notes will go in and out and around. Follow those notes. Do not orchestrate them. Let them lead you. They have a whole song for you, a chorus of music. The music of your heart will play itself.

When you don't know which way to turn, you have not been listening to your heart.

Sit down and have a heart-to-heart talk with your heart. It is not a child, but you have treated it like a child, like a wayward child, not delinquent exactly but a child you have neglected. You have put it aside. Invite your heart to your life, and let it star there.

Indeed there is heart trouble in the world. Hearts have been dishonored.

Let this be the year of the heart.

Let your heart sing. It sings for all. It sings its own tune, but it sings for all. All hearts do not have to be heard by all, but all hearts must sing, and when they do, they sing for all. It is not the hearing that matters; it is the singing. Only, you need to listen to your own heart. It is yours. That is what it is for, for you to listen to. Hum your own tune. It does not matter who else hears it. Hear your own heart.

The heart of the world needs healing. But only you can heal your own. As soon as you hear what your heart is singing, it is healed. That is all it wanted, a little of your time and attention. Heed your heart, for it is the one I gave you. It is a gramophone I gave you. It is a stereo that sings to the world, but is not of the world. A Human heart is a magnificent heralder of Heaven.
