That Which Belongs to God Anyway

God said:

What could be more terrible than separation from Me, for that is being split from yourself.

What other trouble can there be but the illusion of separation from Me?

I am not foisted upon you. I am your Chosen.

There is obedience to Me or there is separation from Me. The word "obedience" has proved a stumbling block to you.

Obedience does not mean obedience as you think of it. It is not blind. Obedience to Me is not a mandate against your own will. Obedience to Me is knowing My Will deep within you. It is not your second choice. It is your first. It is not the putting of your will aside. It is not My Will against your heart. My Will is recognized by your heart.

"Thy Will, not mine" means: "Thy Will and not my misperceived will." It means: "Thy Great Will and not my sawed-off one." It means: "Thy Will and not my incredible smallness." It means: "Thy Will and not my puffed-up ego" It means: "Thy Will is my deepest longing, God. Give it to me."

When you can have a whole pie, why would you chose a slice?

When you can own the bank, why would you rob the till?

When you can have the ocean, why would you single out a wave?

When you can reach a far shore, why would you not venture?

When the Sun is yours, why would you not take it?

When you are offered glory, why not avail yourself of it?

When you are given Great Love, why would you accept only dribs and drabs of it?

You have perhaps found absence of love easier to accept than love.

You have perhaps found fault instead of joy.

You have perhaps scoffed rather than be happy.

You have perhaps denied yourself and accepted something less.

You most assuredly have done that.

You are entitled to all I give you. I give you everything. You are entitled to everything. You demure your acceptance. You play coy with Me.

My love rains down upon you like gold coins. And you don't notice. How can you pick up My love when you do not notice it?

My love is heaped upon you, and yet you are quick to pick up something else. Anything else is less, don't you see?

Say to yourself:

"God is with me right now. God is inseparable from me. God occupies my heart. My heart is a host to God. God anchors my heart. The still waters that God leads me to are within my heart. The pastures He bids me to lie down on are in my heart. Everything I seek is within my own heart. My heart is a heart of gold because God stirs my heart, and He soothes it. I give allegiance to my heart because I begin to recognize Whose heart it is.

"God, I do not know what obedience is, but I know I follow You. I would follow You anywhere, but that is irrelevant. You take me only to Heaven. Do I take Your hand, or do I give You mine? Surely I can anchor my heart in Yours.

"My heart is already Yours, but now I give it to You. You have my heart anyway, so what is the difference? Yet I know that the difference is great when I hand my heart over to You. I do not know how great can be more great, but I know it is.

"So, here, dear God, is my heart. It is my will that You have it."

one only trouble

You stir my heart and You soothe it:

"What could be more terrible than separation from Me, for that is being split from yourself.

What other trouble can there be but the illusion of separation from Me?"

Let's not be bothered by anything else, by anything less.

"So, here, dear God, is my heart...."

Is this the bestest Heavenletter? I think so!...jim(i)
