Projection

Gloria to God:

Dear Father, as I took the trash out this morning and groomed the roses on my way back, the thought came: "Maybe I do something right."

I was thinking about a notable lady in town who never commented on the Heavenletters I had sent her, so of course I thought I had failed again. I bumped into her yesterday. She told me she had been out of town and just started reading Heavenletters, found them inspiring, and liked them a lot. So that's what I was thinking about when I thought, "Well, maybe I do something right after all."

It was a revelation, like the one where I realized I had viewed life as a pile-up of suffering. If I have to tell myself I'm not so bad after all, if I have to learn that maybe I do do some things right, then I must have been feeling deep down that I was wrong a lot of the time. How many of us have somehow been inculcated from childhood with the belief in our not-so-goodness and believe in it so deeply that we're not even aware that we do?

God:

Feel good now that you are aware of this cloud. Now that you are aware, you can start to be very good to yourself and make it up to yourself. Make it up to yourself for Me.

Gloria, the whole world has been taught that they are unworthy, and the world holds on to what it has been taught. Sin is considered original and a mark on everyone. The earth itself has been considered unworthy and, therefore, not treated well.

Criminals are an objectification or projection of the world's disdain for itself. My children somehow try to prove they are good by proving how bad someone else is and penning them away to keep the onus off the unpenned. What would the world do if there were no "bad guys" to be superior to?

This good and bad is a big issue in the world. It is judgment par excellence, judgment exonerated from yourself and pasted on others. My children are sectioned off by the world, those who are worthy of being My children and those who are not. There is even a system to perpetuate this.

Even one such as you who doesn't break laws and means always to do good carried a cloud of disgrace the day you were born. Shame, shame was a chant of your upbringing.

Gloria:

Karen told me that when I was a schoolteacher, my main thing was to teach the children belief in themselves. Was it myself I was trying to teach that to?

God:

Yes.

Gloria:

Sometimes I feel, in trying to promote You, a little like Jehovah Witnesses and Mormon people who knock on doors and often are rejected. They are trying to promote You also.

God:

Because a particular ascribed system of belief and protocol are not accepted doesn't mean that I am rejected. When someone rejects Heavenletters, it doesn't mean I am or that you are either.

You promote no school. You promote simply Me. You are the lone distributor who passes out her Father's words. Your campaign is non-denominational. It is non-everything. It is simply God you want to sell, and that, Gloria, is the same as selling belief in oneself.

Now you are teaching the same thing you always did. Now you consciously do it for Me more than for yourself. You are becoming more other-oriented in giving and less other-oriented in receiving.

This week you have had two insightful breakthroughs. You are leaving behind the idea of life as suffering and the idea of unworthiness. You are moving toward acceptance of joy and acceptance of your worth.

This is a huge turn in your life. Huge.

Now, here is what I want you to think of in regard to your life prior to these insights. I would like you to think how well you did despite the beliefs you carried.

And now think what you will accomplish with your new thoughts. Write: "I am worthy. I choose joy." Repeat those words as often as necessary. "I am worthy. I choose joy."

Gloria:

Dear God, do You realize how many years it took me to come to those realizations? About sixty!

God:

It took a moment. It took as long as a snap of your fingers. You always rode this wave of truth, and now you honor it.

Gloria:

Thank You very much.

God:

You're welcome.

Gloria:

Back to the subject of control, I have another example of it. Assumptions!

God:

Absolutely. Assumption is not innocence. Anything that is not innocent is assumptive. Anything that is not innocent is controlling.

Gloria:

I would like to ask one of the questions that Mother Divine gave yesterday.

God:

Ask.

Gloria:

Who are my pet doggies, Sunshine and Ginger, really?

God:

They are beings of light to bring you love incarnate. They show you what sweetness is, what focus on love is. They teach you non-judgment. They are your teachers.

Gloria:

Another one. What is my connection to the stars?

God:

Stars fuel your heart. Even if you never saw the light of a star, the starlight would ignite your heart.

Deep in your heart, you know you are grateful to stars for the light they shine on the world. Stars are signal-lights of God. They light the way to Heaven. They are like the lights on a landing field.

Whom do you think the stars light up for? They light up for you.

All stars are magnets, pulling you Heavenward.

Tears came to my eyes

Gloria, tears came to my eyes when I read this sutra.

I searched on your site for something to read about shame. I had a situation come up this week when I realized that I have a lot of shame and that it has held me back in life. I didn't know how to deal with it.

But here I read that I am not alone in these feelings and I can say "I am worthy and I choose joy." The words of God are so loving and healing and I feel them in my heart.

I am so grateful to you Gloria for giving us these writings from God. I read one or more every day and they are changing my life day by day.

I decided not to wait for your online course in Heavenwriting. I read everything I could on your site about how to Heavenwrite and now I have been writing to God every morning. However I still wouldn't miss reading your Heavenletter every day.

Blessings from Mary Ann

Dearest Mary Ann, it is God

Dearest Mary Ann, it is God to thank for Heavenletters, plain and simple. He gives us the Gift, and He showers us with love.

Did you see yesterday's blog? You can post there too if you like what you read!
