DEEP PEACE

Come, deep peace of the open prairie and the wind-swept sky;
Of the flowing rivers; the quiet valleys and the noble trees,
Standing stalwart and true on the mountain side,
Steady through all the boisterous winds of life.

The deep peace of God dwells within each one of us,
Waiting to give us the strength to conquer all,
And bringing us back to You,
Our beloved Father-Mother Creator.
By whichever name we call You,
You are always there.
