Be Glad to Be You
How gently snow falls. That is how you want to move through life. There is no hurry. There is gentleness. Snow likes the way it falls. It is not concerned with how it piles up or how someone may not want it to snow. Snow doesn't care whether someone grumbles about shoveling, yet snow cares very much about being snow and its approach to Earth. Snow knows it falls from Heaven. Snow knows it is God's delight. Snow itself delights in its snowiness.
May you be as wise as snow and delight in your Beingness which includes your Human Beingness.
Snow doesn't yearn to be anything but what it is. It does not yearn to be pink. It doesn't yearn to stay forever. Snow is content to be snow and come and go. Snow has never been known to think it wanted to be anything else but snow. Snow doesn't desire to be rain and pelt the Earth. Yes, snow is perfectly happy to be snow. Whether snow falls in big flakes or little flakes, snow is content.
Snow doesn't complain about the cold, and snow doesn't complain about the sun that melts it. Snow enjoys the cold, and it enjoys the sun. Snow lets everything be as it is.
Snow is not concerned with how pretty it is or how slushy it may get. Snow is happy to be walked on, and snow is happy not to be walked on. Snow yearns for nothing but to be what it already is. Because snow is glad no matter what, it resists nothing. Snow is simply happy to be snow.
May you emulate the snow that just enjoys itself to the hilt and doesn't resist even its own melting.
In a way, it is as if all your choices in life have spoiled you. Snow is unspoiled and content and simple. You who have many choices are perhaps spoiled and discontent.
If snow had your versatility, it would enjoy every choice because snow accepts its journey and does not question it. If snow turned into rain, it would be happy just the same. When summer comes and snow cannot exist, snow is fine with that too. Snow knows another season comes. Snow knows that it is fulfilling My Will, and snow is plenty content with that.
And you with so much opportunity may often be discontent. Discontent has its value too because it helps you to move on. At the same time, acceptance of life as it comes doesn't mean you have to keep everything the same.
If I asked you, "Beloved, which would you choose to be, snow or yourself?" I know you would answer, "Myself."
I never did ask you to make that choice, and yet you did choose to be born and you did choose who you would appear to be. And you haven't stopped making choices. You are choosing right now to read this Heavenletter from Me. You choose what you will make of it. You make choices, beloveds, even choices you feel you would not make. Who makes your choices unless you do?
You may feel uncomfortable to be who you are, and yet would you choose to be anyone else? You might quickly say that you would like to trade places with this movie star or that, yet, when it came down to it, you would really choose to be you.
What do you say? Will you be glad to be you and to appreciate your uniqueness as well as your Oneness?
Feel what the snow feels. It bares itself to the world, and it likes its snowiness. Will you like your humanness?
