Yes, I am to be relied on, but do not wait for Me, for I also rely on you. Many of you wait for Me to come in and change your life, turn it around, give you more money, restore your health. But it is not My desire that you be passive. It is your life, after all. Make it what you will. Do not keep waiting for Me as if you are powerless, for you are not.

I am telling you to live your life without further delay. I am with you already, so there is no point in your waiting. Certainly, I serve you, but I am not a mere servant. Certainly, I lead you beside the still waters, but it is you who must drink. I cannot drink for you.

Have you not been waiting for something? Perhaps even all your life? Perhaps to be rescued? But I do not see My children as helpless. That may be how you see yourself, but that is not how I see you. Therefore, you are incorrect. You are not damsels in distress. You need no rescuing. You just need to let go of the past and move forward.

Waiting for something to occur is stopping in the past. You may think you dally in the present, but it is the past that holds you in abeyance.

Take one step forward today. That is all you have to do. That is all you ever have to do.

What prevents you from moving forward? What messages go round in your head that tell you to hesitate, to stop right where you are, and wait for intervention? Divine intervention inserts itself, but it is not to wait for.

Be independent. Rely on yourself. I exist, and I am with you, but I am not your purse that you take money from at will. Nor am I your check book. Nor am I an order number that you call and wait for delivery.

It is you and it is I to be relied on. You and I. Not I alone. You and I. True, I am always available. So avail yourself of what I tell you right now. Do not wait for Me to descend. Think more along the lines of your ascending to Me. I am already in your heart. So ascend to Me in your own heart. You are so close to Me.

We are Oneness. All the more reason not to wait for Me. Do you think I exist separately from you? Do you think I am in a far-off land? I am right at hand. I am in your hands. Your hands reflect My Will.

Rather than waiting for Me to move you around, move Me. Move Me around the world. Distribute Me. Be the one who helps Me. Carry Me as I carry you.

Wait for no man. And wait for no God to deliver you. Deliver yourself. Deliver Me.

I am giving you over to yourself. Your life is yours. You are Mine, but you are the decider of the course of your life. Choose a direction, and set forth in it. I am before you, egging you on. I am egging you on right now. I follow you and I lead you at the same time. Take responsibility for your life. Have Me as your Counsel. Listen to Me, but listening of itself is not all that you do. Listen and lift your feet.
