Which One of These?

God said:

Time and time again, you consider the mundane real life, and the life of the spirit as — what? Illusion? Fancy? Wishful thinking? Delusion? Improbable? Untrue? Nice once in a while, but really not serving you on the worldly plane?

What a conundrum the world is! How it has mixed up truth and fancy! The permanent is true, the temporary evanescent, yet the world calls the temporary real, and the eternal imagined. And you are the world. You hold on to its beliefs. You give great credence to the world and to that which seems negative.

You think I don't know what's going on in life, or that I fluff it off.

But I do truly know what's going on in life, and I know what you think of it. I do not fluff off your feelings, but I cannot compromise My awareness with yours. You have to come to My way of seeing, not that I am stubborn, but because you are far afield. You think you call a spade a spade, but you call pain and suffering truth and you call joy and love occasional pastimes.

You have it backwards. You really do. And you have a hard time convincing yourself otherwise. You go by what the eyes see or read. You go by what the ears hear and so on. But your physical senses are only a small aspect of your life on Earth. But you may think the bouncing of your life is real life. Bouncing is only bouncing, and bouncing is bound, only skin-deep. You are soul-deep.

Stay near to your soul. Give it its day. Know the truth of yourself. Truth is not impenetrable. Truth is simple. Even when your heart breaks on Earth, your soul knows not of heart-break. So vast is your soul, that it knows only of Vastness. Your soul cannot be made small. It cannot be interrupted. It is not that your soul salvages the ruins. Your soul sees no ruins. What is a twinge here and there of your body, or a broken bone, or even death of the body to your soul? There is no difference to your soul, for your soul lives with knowledge far greater than what you give allegiance to.

The soul knows it is forever. It knows that what happens to the body and what you perceive happening in the world cannot touch it. The soul is impervious to your limited thought.

Consider the soul the Sun. You cannot convince the Sun that it doesn't shine through clouds anymore than you can convince your soul that your life is made up of cumbersome bouncing.

Consider the soul your liaison with Me. Your soul never lets go of the golden cord that encircles every heart and reports to Me. We have instantaneous connection. So, when I speak to you, much of the time I am talking to your soul. And it is your soul that hears Me. You cannot be soulless. You can only be soulful, but that does not mean sad. It means full of soul, not bereft of it.

Your soul knows not of sadness. Your soul knows not of sorrow. Your soul knows Beingness for what it is. And you are your soul. The connector to your soul is your heart. Let your heart favor your soulness. Let it savor it. Let it become well-acquainted with it.

You have a body, mind, heart and soul. And of these, which one matters the most? Of these, which one counts the most? Of these, which one of these never leaves you, nor never leaves My side? Which one of these is more you than anything else? Which one of these do I speak to now? And which one of these hears Me?
