I am a swan

"I am a Swan"
" I am not such an ugly duckling
all feathers all stubby and brown
no worth"
while in the winter months
i hid all alone
in despair
waiting for the tease
the tease that never came
instead for i looked into the mirrored
glass
God said
"Open your eyes see"
"You are a Swan my beloved"
I looked I saw and could not believe my
eyes A Swan it is me
I cried out... and Spread my wings to fly
to be a spirit free...
